Gautama continues convincing Khanderao that he needs to create an image and his place in hearts of people. Khanderao says that he believes Ahilya is his ardhangini, they have shared goal, beliefs and would work for it together. Then he reassures Gautama that he would do as she says.
Ahilya tells Harkubai she will talk to Gautama and clear her misunderstanding but Harkubai tells her not to do so, instead talk to Khanderao.
Khanderao asks Ahilya if she thinks he's fit for ruling. She says yes, she believes in him. She is about to talk about something else then the bell rings and she has to rush to the kitchen.
Renu is making embroidery when she recalls, Ahilya told her she would teach her how to stich names and learn to make it for Parikshit. She then berates herself for thinking about him.
Yamoonabai sends a message for Renu to call her to the temple early in morning. The same message is sent for Parikshit as well.
Ahilya dreams that she is running with Renu towards light but ends up sending her into a pit of darkness. She wakes up scared.
The Pandit has called other Brahmins and they're performing yajna.
Ahilya reassures herself Renu is fine but is still feeling unsure.
Yamoonabai tells Dwarkabai they should go see the drama unfold, Dwarkabai says she can't go there, people will get suspicious, Yamoonabai should go.
