Actually no. Umar had the choice of choosing who he wants to take. Karan made multiple suggestions but Umar made the final decision of taking Nishant because Nishant was the one who had his secret for the task and did not reveal it.

So no Karan did not ditch Afsana despite the things she said to him, he always maintained his relationship.

Its quite clear Nishant has literally fooled both Tejran. Now they can't do nothing about it. Their baby Umar is in VIP house so game dynamics will change

Teja n Vishal I expected! Coz for me none of them actually deserved it (though I enjoy Tejran). But never expected Nishant ll do this to Karan. Anyways good Karan will get to see his beera/veera's face. Also, he can know his true alliances and better up his game.
