Why are Tejos outfit so outdated compared to Jasmins?!?

To show her as old fashioned and backward thinking while Jasmine is modern😆

Becoz she steals money and jewelleries from people's cupboards and purchases the outfit. Tejo is too mahaan to steal

Because they can't give her decent clothes... If they gave her anything other than ill fitting tents/kurtas than she'd look more gorgeous than Jasmine, who's apparently the paramsundari of moga. They do her makeup really awful too just for this.
