I don't think this would alienate his true friends from him. People disagree with friends, if the bond is real, both parties understand and agree to meet mid way.

Umar wasn't wrong in talking to Tejasswi about an action of hers that was unsettling to him, had he kept mum and bottled it up, then it'd be an issue. I'm certain had the roles been reversed, Tejasswi herself would have objected to Umar's choice of words. He at least had the decency to let his friend know in private that an action of hers has hurt him.

I don't think either of them is juvenile enough to break their friendship over something as petty as a minor disagreement.

Here is how it goes - when Neha was non-stop targeting Umar, Teja came to his defense. His DEFENSE. She stepped in and asked Neha to not Target Umar saying Umar is emotionally vulnerable.

After everyone else had gone away, Umar confronted Teja - and dressed her down for saying he is emotionally vulnerable. He spoke very rudely to her, and did not acknowledge at all that she was trying to HELP help and trying to DEFEND him. He just stuck to that one comment and said - Mera dil pathhar hai. Frankly, woh dikhta nahi hai.

Umar is a HUGE target for the Shamita gang. They all HATE him and would take him out in a moment. He needed friends and allies. And he the two most powerful people in the house as friends and allies.

And he just alienated them entirely over a single word.

This was an extremely foolish move. Being an individual hero is well and good. But in a game like Bigg Boss, there is greater strength in numbers.

Umar is very strong, he is taking on all bullies together. If Teja is really his friend she must understand that she is not savior of her friends. Her intention may be correct but execution was wrong. And Umar talks with her at personal level.

Good for him for standing up for himself and rightfully so. I adore Karan and Tejasswi as players but if they did this then it is indeed rude. I don't think either of them, especially Teja would've appreciated it one bit had anyone done this to them.

Maybe they're doing it subconsciously but now that Umar has made his point clear, they should be careful about it.

I think Teja supported Umar in a sly way elevating herself at the same time. This is the reason why I don't like Teja...she always does things for camera. Fake. I am glad Umar gave her back otherwise she will dominate him. But Umar shouldn't break bridges with the team...he need to calm down a bit.

Every time anyone tries to give their word, Teja hijacks it and not let them finish. Especially with kundra, if kk dies something to support something in action or word then she will just jump in and take over it. Very annoying.

There was no reason for Teja to take Umar's name at all, just because she had to say something for the sake of it because she felt she was losing face in front of that loser Neha, Umar and Teja have never been close, Teja was close to Vishal and the other boys, she started hanging out with Karan after the ranking task when Karan was ranked as Number 1 by Farah Khan. The best thing they can do is be cordial with each other since they're both VIPs

The only thing Umar needs to do is control his temper, that's gonna be a triggering weakness in him that people will exploit, having aggression for the right reasons makes perfect sense, not for every disagreement

Her reason for standing up for Umar could have been expressed as. I stand by my friend. And then if Umar reacted. I would be somewhat inclined to what you said.

But in this instance she put him down at the same time … so Umar should have reacted. And did.

I'm so glad he cleared that with her. Disagreements are a part of every relationship be it a platonic one or otherwise. When conversations leave the realm of courtesy, that's when the trouble starts.

teja has said weak to him and then changed it to vulnerable

umar was completely right in putting teja in her place who thinks she is way above other people

He single handledly gave it back to Shamita, simba and Pratik and is currently seen as most powerful.

well if she stops doing it how will she get to do that sobbing drama on weekends
