Still can't believe our show is over. 💔

After PriYo aka Prithviraj and Sanyogita (Rajat and Mugdha), Anidita will remain as my 2nd favourite jodi. Though I have loved Pranbir from Kumkum Bhagya too but even those characters have been butchered unlike Priyo and Anidita. Coincidentally, both pairs were there onscreen for a short time, both being 1 yr and a few months. And yet both became unforgettable. I am proud to be fans of both Prithviraj and Sanyogita and Anirudh and Bondita and shows like Prithviraj Chauhan and Barrister Babu.

I am also proud of the makers who didn't bow down to the channel's gross and cringeworthy demands and butchered Anirudh's character in a way that we could never have the same connection with him again.

On one hand, I am sad that the show went off air when there was still so much to explore and we still had so many things to see but on the other hand, I am happy that it will remain as a beautiful memory and the makers didn't give in to the whims of the pathetic Colors channel which might have made sure that the show remained on air for more time but would have ruined our interest in it. I didn't want a time to come when we would have asked for the show to be ended ourselves. Let it remain as one of the best shows of ITV, short but totally memorable.

I am sure the cast will shine even more in future. All the best for their future.

Though due to lack of time, many things remained unexplored but I loved the last episode. They kinda closed the loop. Ani emerging as a saviour to rescue Bon from being burnt alive was what started their story and once again, Ani returning to rescue Bon again from being burnt alive marked the end of their story. It came full circle. Even their attires were the same in both the beginning and the end. And their cute, little babies are just so adorable. Loved the way he broke the lock and entered his home, reminded me of the enraged Ani from the initial days. Loved the slap Batukiya got. Saste mein chut gaya. 😡 But atleast we got a little satisfaction. Such a monster. Psycho kahinka. 😡 It's good that Anirudh kicked him out of their lives. He should have done that with TRC too. But oh well, TRC has always been whitewashed. Anirudh ka bas chale toh woh pura TP ko hi barrister bana daale.

So, according to the last scene, Anidita's children will carry the legacy forward.

The main ladunga tere khatir and the very first RTM Aaja tujhko mitti pukare that marked the end of their journey made me emotional. 😭

Will miss seeing new episodes of Barrister Babu and new moments and fights of Anidita so much.

I didn't say that I will miss Barrister Babu and Anidita because like Prithviraj Chauhan (till leap), I will keep watching Barrister Babu (except certain tracks, e.g. Manorama and Batuk) and hence, like Priyo, Anidita will be there for me. 😊
