Funny.. seems like you lot haven't been around enough European people. Plenty of Dutch here were blonde babies and have dark brown/blacl hair now. For me it is the opposite, I had darker hair as a kid and it's brown now. It's all natural. I could post pictures of my nephew who is half brown half white, he has dark brown hair now and used to be lighter. But oh well, people see and believe what they want to so I am not even going to bother lol.

I’m surprised people are still confused about her Kaif story. Boom director made it up. She picked Kaif because he was popular and made her half desi because she thought people won’t accept full firangan.

I don’t believe the half Kashmiri story but I can back up what DheeJattanDi is saying about looks. Genetics aren’t nearly as straightforward as some people want to think. I have a cousin who is a relatively dark Gujarati and had a blue eyed pink skinned half white daughter (and I do NOT mean blue eyed the way Indians usually mean I mean sky freaking blue real blue). She did get darker as she grew but still could pass for 100% Western European even though she is half Indian. People used to tease him about whether she was really his (she has her mothers coloring for sure but she is definitely her father’s daughter) Same way I know mixed couples with kids who look more ‘Indian’ than mine do even though they are half white. Karan Kapoor (Sashi’s son) looked too white for Bollywood and people knew for sure he was half Indian. I think anyone who has friends who have mixed kids could tell you there is nothing in their looks that can reliably tell you Katrina or Isabella Kaif are not half Indian. Now their story on the other hand…
