my review of umar - unpopular opinion

I was a huge asim fan. When i say huge. I mean huge from the very first episode on stage when he hit on Mahira🤣 I loved him.

Right up until his show down with Paras who put him down for not wearing cheap perfume. I adored him.

Utterly.

So i am sure you can understand why I am disappointed with Umar. Seeing him in the first episode. I liked him. And found Donal and Lasaan annoying.

But he disappeared only to become alive when he went a little extra in each task. Until next week where he had that big moment with Simba and now everyone is saying hes definitely a finalist?

I am confused.

One good week after being non existent. He suddenly is a finalist 🤣its more confusing then karan doing karan neeti when its very obvious hes not a mastermind.

Rubina was totted to have a superiorty complex week after week.

Despite not even showing that. But it was pushed. So was abinav being unfaithful. BUT with Umar i dont understand how this guy is pushed so heavily. Even Vishaal has been more active. Even lasaan!!

Does having good PR really make one a finalist?

I dont get it🤣

Asim was visible every episode of that season.

Umar isnt.

And i know I shouldnt compare them as they are different humans. But I cant help but do that for their game.

Asim was so good with his comebacks.

Umar is just aggressive.

And I loved seeing Asim with Sid. But seeing umar with Karan makes me wanna gag.

First of all there is no comparison between asim and Umar both of them are different individuals.

Asim is my all time favorite bb contestant while umar is my favorite in bb15. Both of them are different individuals and their games are also different.

Have you watched episodes after Umar became captain? Have you watched today's episode? If yes then don't know which bb you are watching.

Since the start of this week Umar hi chaya hua hai. He is giving back to all the bullies.

I never see todays episode. I just dont see him being an individual as compared to Asim who did think on his own. His choices now are very motivated by what karan wants.

Sigh waking up after 5 weeks? i dunno. I dont hate him its just hes disappointing to me. Again not fighting with his fans but just saying i need to see something in him that makes him worthy in my eyes as a finalist.

As for the comparison if you read my whole post i said i know its unfair to compare. But it will happen.

I understand your pov. But i can just say Umar is improving day by day. Baki likeness dislikeness sabki alag hoti hai and it's fine

This is not an unpopular opinion. Many feel the same as you As someone else said, comparing Umar to Asim is not fair. They're completely different individuals. Comparing him to one of the most loved contestants is not right.

Secondly, I initially did not like Umar and also thought he was being hyped by audience for being Asim's brother. I was like wth is anyone seeing in him? It was slowly that he started to shine in my eyes. He has many funny one liners, he is a sweetheart, he seems genuine, and is slowly getting confidence in his game.

He was invisible in the show initially but even Rahul Vadiya was irrelevant at the beginning of s14 and went on to become the finalist.

It takes years to make a fan following and Umar has got it in a day by doing no work 😆 I didn’t even knew him before except that He is Asim brother 🤓 But he entered with huge fan following with PR he is no 1 in trends n polls than all other celebs who have worked in tv for more than 10 years shows the fake ness of social media online world. Tejran also got it. 😃

He lacks personality has problem with speech kuch hai hi nahin to praise him yet he is no 1. Asim was good but Umar not.

This is why show is low in TRP

Even Asim was under Sids shadow for about 2/3 weeks. He got his moment and he shined.

Umar I think knows this inevitable comparison thats going on and is trying hard not to follow the same trajectory lest he would be mocked for following the same journey as his brother. He is kinda under pressure subconsciously imo and many also rub it in his face inside the house about Asim etc. I feel he also knows he is lil extra aggressive so he doesn’t get involved in unnecessary fights until his fuse is gone and so he was lying low until provoked heavily thats my guess . He is definitely not footage hungry and his rivalries seem organic until now. Being Finalist is a lil far fetched , he’s just getting his momentum lets see if he disappears again or holds the ground strong.

Fact is if he wasnt Asims brother he would be the most Irritating person in the history of BB house who doesnt know when to shutup.

Hes banking on asims fan votes and ppl are only focused on nepotism when it comes to Shamita

Apparently he asked Teja and miesha to create fake love angle before entering how pathetic!!

I don’t understand why are you comparing him to Asim. Asim is different and Umar is different! Stop comparing please! All I can say is Umar is doing really well!
