Regarding Akshara's Simplicity:
I'm going to borrow Abhimanyu's words for a moment: Simple hona asaan nahi hai.
The reason why I lean more towards Akshara is because of her simplicity. In a day and age where almost every piece of media is showcasing a tortured soul with an immensely tragic backstory, it's refreshing to have someone who exudes positivity and happiness wherever she goes.
That being said, Akshara still fits into the tragic category because of her parentage. Her issues with anxiety, her missing the comfort of a family and her yearning to get a firm grasp of who she is are all incredibly powerful facets to her character. But these facets don't need to manifest themselves in a complicated manner. In fact, these issues may stay with her as life long companions and that's also okay. It's not necessary that these issues get resolved immediately or ever. What matters is how a person chooses to cope with them and for the most part Akshara has done a good job. Yes, she gets panic attacks but those can be dealt with the right kind of emotional and mental support. But in regards to her behavior or treatment of people, she has done a fantastic job as she has chosen the path of kindness.
That's why I said, Akshara character is one of the best character written till now. And her leaving Abhi will make sense too because my sister over any mister.
Regarding Arohi:
I wanted to like her character but I simply can't because of how heartless and basic they have portrayed her.
Yes, she also has had a tragic childhood because of her parentage and her bitter and standoffish attitude is understandable. Her desire to be the best is also not a bad thing. In fact, I want her to succeed and become the most accomplished and success doctor that the Birla Hospital has seen. To have her, a woman, kick all the Birla Men's asses by her impeccable professionalism would have been fantastic! Alas, they have reduced her to someone who's life is revolved solely around one man. They couldn't let her academic achievements or professional desires to be self-motivated and have her be an inspiration to a new generation. They just had to make EVERYTHING about her be about this one man.
The one thing that truly repelled me from her though was her telling Akshara to stay back. She only did it because Abhimanyu was there and she didn't want to look bad in front of him. What if he hadn't been there and she had caught Akshara alone whilst she was having her panic attack? Would she have cared? Unfortunately, the implication I have received is a definitive no. Moreover her attitude parallels with Abhi's dad's who wanted only profitable patients. When it comes to Healthcare, doctors can't be selective about who they're treating. They have sworn an oath to treat everyone REGARDLESS of who they are. Ergo, Arohi should have also helped Akshara out ON HER OWN as an ethically correct doctor should. Abhimanyu shouldn't have played a deciding factor in this.
I clarified why the character Aarohi in show is not a loving character. Exactly what I told.
If you are confused about the other points... Then that's my imagination. How it would be better.
I am kind of sad with ITV too... Pitching sister against for a man is just too low.
Regarding Abhimanyu:
I don't have a problem with him loving Akshara for the sole reason what he feels for her is peace. Peace is the foundation of their love and everything else comes after. We all are well aware of how troubled Abhimanyu is as a character. His issues with his dad produce a volcanic temper in him within seconds. We have seen only two people calm him: firstly, his mother and second, Akshara. His mother is an understandable given the biological, and familial connection. But for someone outside of that sphere, a complete stranger, to have that calming effect on him is a profound matter. Of course he would seek this individual out, and when he finds the pure soul that lives within that vessel, his attraction will reasonably increase.
Let's not forget, what to us seems like a short amount of time, would have been a wait measured in decades for him. Him wanting to marry her is completely understandable as there is no one else for him. If there had been, then he would have felt that attraction and wouldn't have been so shocked about the feelings he was developing.
That's a nice way to look on. You really have an amazing point.
But he does not know her flaws and the point is... He did not asked her nd neither anyone of them confessed to each other... So how come he just directly goes to ask her hand in marriage?
Overall:
I began watching the show because I wanted to know why HC chose this project over all others. I like what he's doing and how AbhiRa's story has been developing thus far. Kissi aur ko acha lage ya na lage, I honestly could give less than a damn.
Their love is patient and requires little to no words to understand one another. They simply know and given the kind of painful ache that has been residing in their hearts for all these years, the connection they have with one another is nothing short than a pure blessing.
Maybe I am unable to connect because I feel and mostly love slow burns and feels that love develops over time.
