I caught the new epi. Actually, Kajol low key takes Didima's case and the latter starts to view her as arrogant but Didima was being a b**** to Putul. This scene is good to watch. Another scene- surprisingly positive Mukherjee scene today.

Anurag ka aaj kal bas ek hi kaam hai, stare at Kajol.

Didima Chatterjee nexus also is there 🤬

Character of the episode: definitely Kajol, she was not afraid to tell Didima that it was wrong to yell at Putul like that. Didima made Priyanka do pooja, but I don't care, I am happy this episode showed Kajol do a little more than be a crybaby.

Also, I think this is going to be the real litmus test for Anurag. Yeah he has been amazing and stood up for Kajol to everyone, but to whom exactly did he do that? The Chatterjees and Mukherjees, whom he really gives no two cents about so it does not matter to him what they think. I want to know whether he will stand up to the people/relations he cares about- Priyanka (his friend), Didamaa etc. So far he never had to stand up to his own because they were supportive and cool. Thats the hard part- standing up to the ones you care for

I am not watching anymore for a while so will rely on the reviews here and written updates. Good to hear that Kajol opened her mouth.

Haha, Priyanka can go to all these efforts to lure kajol away from Anurag but she is wasting her time as Kajol only sees Anurag as an acquaintance right now...when Nania tells Kajol that Anurag is engaged it wont make a difference to Kajol other than to keep away from Anurag but it will make a hell of a difference to Anurag

As to his dadi she can fall off from her high throne at any point and take Priyanka with her: Anurag/ Abishek & Sharmilla are terrified of her but not Kajol it seems😃

Its good Kajol spoke up about money; but she needs to stand up for herself when she will be publicly humiliated by Chandana and Nania at the Puja - it waits to be seen what will happen as her Pisshima wont be there to back her up - and also interesting to see what Anurag will.do

All of this will play out next week.

And you are absolutely right abt Anurag. This is going to be HIS test , becoz he has always been surrounded by supportive people.

If he really wants to spend his life with Kajol, than he has to pass this test and he has to stand up against this old witch in the 1st place and than Priyanka.

And if he fails, he can forget Kajol, becoz at this moment Kajol only sees Anurag as someone who is a nice person and who has helped her alot..............nothing more, nothing less

I have to agree with you. Priyanka thinks she is doing Kajol something, but she is so dead wrong. The only thing left for Kajol to do when she hears abt Priyanka being Anurags fiancee, is staying away from him. End of story for her.

Anurag is going to go crazy if Kajol doesn't want anything to do with him and on top if his grandmother forces his alliance with Priyanka

Why do I get the feeling that Anurag might marry Kajol forcefully if he doesn't have a way out ??? That Anurag might surprise everyone.

What I do know abt ITV is that either a marriage btwn leads is done : 1) forcefully- 2) out of majboori - 3) out of revenge or 4) bride or groom swap

Going back and forth like the situation now btwn Anurag-Kajol and Priyanka is not going to work on the long run and won't bring in the numbers, becoz its already boring..........how much more boring can it get ?? A marriage track btwn Anurag and Priyanka is going to damage matters further, becoz Anurags character arc has always been different.

So ultimately they will have to go with a marriage btwn AnJol

And frankly I don't mind Anurag marrying Kajol forcefully and she misunderstanding him.......at least they will be together and we can see their journey from there onwards.

Also the marriage btwn Arjun and Naina is long due as well.

Very interesting observations- Anurag does not strike me as a man given to rash moves so a forceful or majboori ( I had to google it means - compulsion -right?) marriage would really be a very unusual twist.

I would love to see this happen - I always said in previous posts of mine - the day Chandana gave her word to Chaterjees that Kajol would not show her face at Nania and Arjun's wedding that Kajol would definitely attend but in what capacity and I said then the twist would be as Anurag's wife.😃 it will really be interesting if plotline goes this way.

Ok so I want 3 things to happen now -

1) Arjun and Nania's wedding because Shreya's one liners and revenge plots are epic - she completely steals the scene as a vamp and I want Nania to suffer, suffer; suffer.

2) Priyanka to fall flat on her face but I dont think this will happen anytime soon...Anjol I always saw as end game from the time Anurag was brought in as parallel lead with Arjun - so for sure there may be twists and turns

I think it will be bamboozled engagement with Priyanka if Anuraf does not speak up but it will never ever lead to shaadi

3) Anjol's shaadi

Finally glad to see anjol in same frame which was missing due to ishita taking a break..Its not easy to move on with the track with one lead and so the added screenpresence of Priyanka.. Its irritating to see her childish behaviour and what I love the most anurag don't like her closeness..He always moves her hands away and this makes me respect anurag more as only one person is close to his heart and thoughts...kajol has removed the bitterness in his heart and he is head over heels in love..To sum up it up it Priyanka can do whatever it will bring anjol more closer..Anurag may have not taken a stand yet as kajol was not in frame but he will esp after seeing that drop of tear in kajol's eye after dida insulted her..crossing fingers its high time anurag expresses his feelings to kajol in the precautions for tomorrow..Good thing kajol will wear the saree anurag has bought for her.. Its a turning point of storyline and with all the hints in durga puja an anjol wedding won't surprise me ...

Since it's ITV I believe you will get your Anjol wedding with upto 90% certainty. But if there is a Priyanka Anurag wedding as a twist then I really wish they would bring in another hero for Kajol. But it is the negativity of the show and ruining of a pure love that is the hallmark of ITV which makes the journey so irritating that you would just come in at the end and see the happy ending and be done with it.

As for the Arjun-Naina wedding, Kajol might attend to expose Arjun and save Naina. And Shreya and Kajol might join forces to stop the wedding. That would be an interesting scenario.
