So finally Pakhi and Omkar are sent to hell, LOL !
Luna is back to bajao Kaku. She finally knows what Samrat is going through.
Virat lashed out at Pakhi again though it won’t make a difference but he bashed her parents.

An angry Virat entered the Chavan Niwas. Seeing the entire family happily enjoying their tea enraged him even more. He calmed himself and took a place next to them.

« Virat dada, do you want a cup of tea ? », Karishma asked.
« Yes Karishma I also want to enjoy the last family tea time with everyone. », he replied.
« Why last ? Tu bhi kya ghar chhod kar jaa raha hai aapni biwi ke peeche peeche ? », Sonali asked in a mocking way.
« Ohh kaku, why are you so eager to send me out of the house ? I am not going anywhere but I am going to clean the house from the negativity. », he replied.

Pakhi, Bhavani and her two brother in-laws were worried while the rest of the house were confused. Pakhi hid behind Samrat which made Virat laugh.

« You don’t have anything to say Pakhi ? Tauntlekha, the taunt queen is silent today. That’s quite strange, isn’t it ? », Virat said and waited for her to answer that she was as always insulted by him but as she didn’t say anything he continued, « Kya hua ? Aaj tumhari beizzati nahin hui?»

Kaku and her minions didn’t dare to come in defense of their favorite bahu of the house.

« Why is everyone so quiet today ? », he asked angrily and then turned towards Pakhi again, « How much did you pay Sanjana to fake her identity ? »
« I don’t know what you are talking about. You are so frustrated that your wife has left you that you are making no sense. », Pakhi said.
« SHUT UP PATRALEKHA. », he shouted at her. « Do you know where your place is for hiring two people to ruin my sister and her husband’s lives ? And do you know where your place is for threatening and blackmailing a police officer ? », he asked.
« Virat let me explain… », Pakhi started to defend herself after realizing that she was caught by him.
« Aa jaaiye ? », he called the police officers. « Arrest her. », he signed them.
« Virat please no. I swear I didn’t have any bad intention. », Pakhi fell on her knees.
« What are you saying, Virat ? », Samrat was shocked.

Virat signed one of the officers who walked up to Omkar and handcuffed him which shocked everyone even more.

« Virat tu kya kar raha hai ? Meine kya kya ? », he asked.
« You are under arrest for kidnapping Pulkit, Omi kaka. », Virat replied.
« How can you believe that servant’s son ? He is lying to take revenge. », Omkar tried to defend himself.
« Kuch toh sharam kijiye. Aur kitna jhoot bolenge ? Kyun kya aapne yeh, kaka ? Kyun ? », Virat asked furious.
« Virat there is a misunderstanding I am sure of it. Omkar ji can never do something like this. You know that Virat. He can’t do such a thing. », Sonali refused to believe Virat.
« See Omi kaka, you didn’t only break my trust but Sonali kaku’s too. », Virat said hurt.
« Tell me it’s a lie Omkar ji. I know you can’t do something like this. I know you aren’t a criminal. You can’t harm anyone. », Sonali cried trying to convince herself that nothing all of this was true.

Omkar looked at Bhavani and Ninad desperately but both shook their heads not to take their names.

« Devi is my niece and I can’t let her get married to a servant’s son. I did this for the family’s reputation. », Omkar confessed.
« What about now, baba ? », Mohit asked teary eyed. « Omkar Chavan in prison for kidnapping as headlines won’t ruin our reputation ? »
« Virat I know what your kaka did was wrong but please give him a chance. », Sonali begged.
« My duty, moral, responsibility and principles won’t allow me to do that. I am sorry kaku. », Virat replied.

Virat signed the officers to take them but Pakhi and Omkar begged Virat to stop this.

« I know that you two are not smart enough to plan something like this nor have any motive to go against Devi Tai and Pulkit so if you want to give the name of the real mastermind, I am listening to you. », Virat said.

Pakhi looked at Bhavani but didn’t say a word. She knew that she needed her Badi Mami to come out of this mess. She confessed that Omkar wanted to separate Deyani and Pulkit as he couldn’t see the family’s name get ruined. He asked her to help him and both teamed up. Omkar wanting to protect Bhavani and Ninad and because of his own selfishness, he accepted to take all the blame on him. Virat informed his officers that he will join them in a while. Pakhi and Omkar were taken to the police station.

While everyone was tensed about what just happened, Pulkit came to the Chavan Niwas with a pandit. Virat who had asked Shivani to get Devyani there came back with her a few minutes later. Pulkit proved by the help of the pandit that they got married almost twelve years ago.

« How do you remember officiating at their wedding after so many years ? », Ninad asked to the pandit.
« Not everyone gets the chance to officiate Nagesh Chavan’s daughter’s union, why would I not remember that ? », the pandit said.
« Now that every misunderstanding is cleared, we can finally officialize their relationship with a wedding. », Virat said.

Devyani jumped with joy.

« I will never allow this wedding. », Bhavani said.
« Gandi Aayi. », Devyani said angrily.
« You will Kaku, if you want Omi kaka and Patralekha out of police custody. », Pulkit said.
« What are you saying ? », Virat asked shocked.

Pulkit explained to Virat that he didn’t want Devyani’s family behind bars. He was ready to forgive everyone if the wedding takes place without interference and with elders’ blessings. Kaku refused the offer but Sonali begged her to accept it.

« Virat when are you going to get Sai back home ? », Samrat asked just when Virat was about to leave.
« You helped her to escape then you go get her back. Why are you asking me ? », Virat replied.
« Virat I know you had a tough time between finding out the truth and Sai’s stubbornness but she is your wife and Gadchiroli is unsafe for her you know that. », Samrat reminded him.
« Yes you are right, I had an exhausting week and you pretty much contributed to it. Don’t worry for her she can handle any situation. She doesn’t need me. She can fight any goon and even escape from police guard. Let her be happy without me. », Virat replied.

Samrat went to his room and let himself fall on the couch. If only he knew from the beginning that the woman he liked at first sight didn’t just deceive him by hiding her past life but also by becoming a criminal, he wouldn’t have agreed to marry her. Not only did she ruin his life but she was about to ruin his sister’s life too. Because of her even Sai has left the house and only God knew where and how she was. He couldn’t understand why Virat who always cared for her and protected her suddenly looked so indifferent and unaffected by her absence. He was so restless that he decided to call his contacts to know where his “Muh boli behen” was. Going through the contact list, his eyes fell on Luna’s name. He couldn’t control himself from calling her. Luna understood by the sound of his voice that something was wrong. An hour later she showed up in the house and without taking anyone’s permission went to his room. She found him with a glass of whiskey in his hand. In his drunken state, he confessed everything to her. How on the night of his wedding he found out that his wife and his brother were in love which made him take the decision to go on a risky mission. How his wife was still in love with his brother and how she was involved in so many wrongdoings.

« Why didn’t you share your problems and pain with me ? », she asked.
« You were so far away. You are always so far away. You go gayab like a ghost. », he replied.
« You are so drunk, gadha. », she replied with a pinch of guilt. « What are you going to do with her now?», she asked.
« Let her rot in jail. », he replied.

They were interrupted by the arrival of Pakhi’s parents in Chavan Niwas. Luna helped him get up and helped him walk down the stairs. The elders were having a conversation with them. Pakhi’s parents couldn’t control their anger seeing Samrat in a drunken state.

« My daughter got arrested and you are having a blast with your best friend ? », Pakhi’s mother blasted him.
« She is where she should be. A criminal’s place is in prison. », Samrat said mockingly.
« By giving away our daughter to you, we thought she would be safe. I know my daughter did a few mistakes but you are her husband and it’s your responsibility to get her out of this mess. », Pakhi’s father pleaded with him.
« And your responsibility was to tell me the truth about your daughter. », Samrat replied.

The Chavans didn't understand what Samrat meant but Kaku had enough of the heated argument between Samrat and his in-laws. She sided with Pakhi's parents as she believed that Samrat shouldn't be sitting at home while his wife was in trouble. She asked Karishma to get her a glass of water and when she came back with it, she took it from her hand and threw it on Samrat's face to get him back to senses. Bhavani's extreme reaction angered Luna.

« BHAVANI AUNTY ENOUGH NOW. », Luna shouted at Bhavani. « Look at him ? He is the son of this house. You are concerned about Patralekha who has wronged the family but can't you see his pain ? », she asked.
« This is a family matter. You stay away. », Bhavani ordered.
« No one hurts my friend, not even you, that too for a woman like Patralekha. », Luna replied.

Luna took Samrat upstairs while Pakhi's parents were shocked by the scene. Luna dragged him inside the shower and turned it on. He held her hand letting her no other chance than get wet under the same shower sharing an eyelock. She recalled all the times he had taken care of her during her difficult times. Today it was her turn and she felt so awful seeing him like this. The guy who was always so positive and hardly had any weak point, today he was broken into pieces.
Luna brought two cups of coffee and sat next to him. She dialed Sai’s number to know how and where she was. Sai informed her that she was still in Nagpur staying in one of DIG’s apartments with his daughter. Luna and Samrat were relieved that she didn’t return to Gadchiroli where her life was in danger.

Virat couldn’t stop from thinking how naive he was. He cursed that day when he met Pakhi for the first time. If he hadn’t met her, life would have been better for him, Sai, Samrat and Pakhi herself. Probably Samrat and Pakhi would be happily married and she wouldn’t be that bad. He was wondering if she was like this because of not having him in her life or if she was like this by nature. He regretted so much for thinking that she was a kind and mature person after knowing her for only two days. He regretted for believing that he was in love without knowing her properly. He regretted that he got confused between love and attraction. He regretted promising celibacy to her. He regretted telling Sai that he didn’t want to have any kind of husband and wife relationship with her just before the wedding. He regretted asking Sai to follow in Pakhi’s footsteps. He couldn’t stop from meeting her. She was very happy to see him expecting that he had changed his mind.

« Don’t think that I am here for you. I just need answers. Where you bad by nature or you became like that ? Because I am seriously regretting that day we encountered for the first time. I am regretting that I ruined my life, Samrat’s life and somehow Sai’s life too for you. », Virat said.
« Virat please, what I did was wrong but… », she started to explain.
« There is no but that can justify your actions. You threatened to kill my wife and I know you are very much capable of harming her. Just for that you deserve this place. », he said.
« VIRAT. », Pakhi’s mother shouted from behind his back, « This is the man for whom you have ruined your life Pakhi ? Wake up my girl. He doesn’t deserve your love as he can’t see anyone else other than his wife. », she added.
« If only you had acknowledged her mistakes instead of covering them up by blaming someone else. Your daughter hired criminals to separate two lovers, she wanted to ruin my Devi Tai’s life, she threatened to harm Sai and yet you don’t see how wrong she was ? I didn’t want to say it but you both are terrible parents. You have spoilt her by giving her everything she wanted. », Virat replied.
« Now you will teach us how to raise our child. », Pakhi’s mother screamed.
« No I will teach her instead. », he replied to her then looked at Pakhi, « Have a nice stay. »

Virat knew it was just a matter of time before Pakhi is freed but till then she needed to stay inside and get the biggest lesson of her life. She will never change if she is always forgiven for all her mistakes. Pakhi’s parents couldn’t do anything for their daughter.


No one could sleep properly after all the events. Ninad was on the phone trying his best to bail his brother and Pakhi out of jail. Kaku was worried and asked for the details. Ashwini brought the tea and snacks. No one bothered about the breakfast. Mohit turned on the television to show to the family about the breaking news. « Scandal of the year : Chavan family, one of the most known families of Nagpur, is involved in criminal activities. Omkar Chavan is arrested for kidnapping his own son-in-law. What must have happened that a member of the family that serves the country has turned to the dark side ? Will ACP Virat Chavan accomplish his duty or save his criminal uncle by using his power ? Rumors are that he is the one who ordered his arrest. », commented the journalist. Virat entered the house carrying a few bags just when the journalist continued, « The elder daughter in-law, Patralekha Salunkhe is also an accomplice while her military spouse recently came back from a risky mission. » Samrat clenched is fist in anger.
