I really like the Ruposh OST. It does kind of give me deewangi vibes because of the lyrics.

But I honeslty cannot imagine Danish in that role...maybe because this hero is being too extra and shokha😆 I think its more of a Feroze type role

Kinza is good at grey roles. Otherwise she is even more bland than Hiba in bechari roles. But I guess it also depends on the writing. The shows I have seen of her all had bad writing.😆 I liked her in Mohabbat Tumse Nafrat Hai and Ishq Tamasha only.

I didnt see any U turn in last episode...I mean he just appeared out of nowhere and took the blame to save Nageen and thats it. No apology, no closure, nothing.🤢 And I am sure if he got the opportunity to be rich again he would accept it in no time, even if it meant going abroad or whatever.

I am not that biased towards Danish I guess, mujhe sab ki performances dekh ke maza aaya. Idk about award worthy but I wouldnt say he did not deserve it. I am happy for him. I think in the last episode he outdid himself in his performance from the whole drama. He was so so good in the scene where he gets shot and then when he is dying in the hospital. It all looked so real in slow motion. I was getting goosebumps. I didnt even feel that way during MPTH when Danish ka heart stopped but he was still having a conversation.🤣 I was actually laughing that time instead of being emotional.

I think this is the first time I felt so sad seeing a bad guy dying. Yes for me Sultan is a badass.😆

Do you mean the shit he did as in killing Haroon and Ramsha? That confused me too because he kept saying that he didnt want to snatch Nageen from Haroon, he wanted her to come by herself. But then he was doing exactly the opposite when he joined hands with Ramsha. Like he didnt even want her past to come out or her to fight with Haroon, he just wanted her love. That was his only intention from what I understood. But then he started doing crazy things after Ramsha spoilt everything. Uss waqt I think he only cared about saving his own ass in the media😆

U-Turn as in Haroon suddenly seedha acha non-materialistic ho gaya, uski mummy Nageen se achi ho gayi etc etc. Last mein jab voh Deewangi poster wala pose kiya na, I was saying loudly thru my tears "Voh Sultan ka pose hai, bhag hato yahan se"

Haan sahi kaha, Haroon chala jaata abroad, voh toh Sultan ne itni problems create ki toh temporarily seedha ho gaya tha.

I became a Danish pankhi after Deewangi's Pilot, voh first episode mein jo Sultan ki entry thi na, ussi time main ek dum flat ho gayi. Seriously, brilliant casting, lag hi raha tha raees and muaser family mein paida hua hai. Bina bole voh sequence mein itna kuch bol diya. 👏❤️ I must say, BGM was brilliant for Sultan's entry, that entire buildup to Sultan's stepping his leg outside the car...bhai sahab, amazing. Deewangi truly ahd the best OST and BGM, still bitter they lost.

I cried a lot in the finale. That entire gun sequence se leke when he got shot was so painful. And last mein jab hospital mein he dies....hayee Fun fact: Those chidhiyaghar stans were using that scene ka gif and mocking Danish's acting...his expressions after he gets shot wale ka mazaak udha rahe they 🤢

Lol MPTH mein I was crying but when I realised Danish Akhtar was talking with his mask off I LMAOed 🤣

Ya that entire shit. Beating up Haroon, killing Ramsha, forcing the doctor to abort Nageen's baby. That was all bad writing. The team just decided ki Sultan ko irredeemable bana do in the last few episodes so that no one ships him and Nageen and people will not want a happy ending...and guess what happened, uska ulta 😆

There was honestly no need to kill Ramsha. A powerful man like Sultan could have dealt with it in another way. One more thing, that cafe wala scene where Ramsha confronts Sultan and her friend is recording them talking...that was such a loophole. Sultan had no security with him who could easily not allow the taping. And dusra, why would he meet her in a public place that to unguarded? Sultan was a millionaire, wouldn't his meetings with anyone be private? In fact his security team would have checked Ramsha for any mics or hidden cams before letting her into their decided place of meeting. Itne loopholes they na.

@bold: Isliye toh I was imagining Danish in the role. 😆 He knows to bring the right amount of intensity and emotions on screen. Feroze mujhe bland lagta hai yaar, pata nahi kyu. KAM3 ka ek episode bhi dekhne nahi hua.

And Kinza's pretty, they'd make a pretty pair on screen. Off screen bhi toh Danish ke paas Kinza hi hai 😆

Mujhe uska rone wala sequence acha laga in Ruposh ka trailer, like when she's shaking and crying. That's how I imagined Nageen to be like. Sanam Chaudhry would have really nailed that role. Ab Dekh Khuda... mein bhi when Jaan-e-Alam approaches her, she says no in such a firm but polite way. No rudeness. nageen ne aisa kiya hota toh main shayad uski team pe hoti, but nahi kiya toh I've been #TeamSultanFTW 😆

Btw Feroze se yaad aaya, Aamna and Hassan ne PISA pe video nahi banaya jaise LSA pe banaya tha, fair-unfair wala 😆 LSA pe toh khub Danish ko snub kiya, ab khud ka favourite jeet gaya toh no video? 😆

I think he was proud as an actor that he would be a part of Lollywood's revival phase. But in the video it seemed he was being subtle Danny. He mentioned films because of the step-son treatment he gets, like thoda sa showing off ki "dekho main films kar raha hu, u used to talk me down and ab dekho". At that time toh aisa lag raha tha na that Lollywood might become a thing...ab voh nahi ho raha voh alag baat hai.

I didn't think he was being all movies > dramas, but since he was getting a move up, he decided to do movies only and see what happens. This was also the time when he was having meetings with producers in Mumbai (Simran telenor wali stroy yaad karo), Fawad had already opened the doors to cross-border films, Danish's shows were airing on Zindagi, toh for him it was a possible career jump.

So he was being both genuine and a little show-off for the snubbers.

Although now looking at his filmography, he did not really give up TV. Shert and Aik Pal were 2015 ke shows, when he was active in films.

You know in the first episode I think one of his first scenes when he lands in Pakistan for an official conference ya kuch, my husband was like why is he dressed like he is attending a wedding, aise kaun aata hai meeting mein🤣 and he kept laughing at some of the dialogues which sounded hilarious...like the scene where Nageen loses her baby in the hospital...the nurse came up to the family and she was like "patient ko hosh aa gaya hai, aankehin khul gayi hai" I mean aise dialogues KAUN likhta hai, and more importantly, who even talks like that😆

I knowwww I get what you mean...Sultan so far is his biggest masterpiece so thats the name he will go by. It made him popular. Just like Humayun ko ab bohat se log Danish bolte honge and Aiza ko Mehwish😆 Hiba ko Nageen or Dilnasheen because those are her most popular characters.

The saas suddenly becoming nice was so weird...wo bhi when her son is in jail because of Nageen🤣 but I guess its predictable, har dramey mein last episode mein sab perfect ho jata hai. I dont think Haroon became non materialistic though. For all we know, he probably joined back Sultan's company after coming out of jail. We will never know.😆

OMG I just realised the last scene was from the poster...but Nageen doing it with Haroon looked so odd and funny🤣 mainly because I dont see that actor as hero material so ajeeb lagta hai. I like him as side roles only.😆 Hes a fab actor though and his father too.

Sultan hai hi aisi cheez. I was flat on him the first time I saw him in Rehaai. And that time he wasnt even so manly, he looked more like an innocent kid😆 But his acting has always been good since the beginning. He has come a long way.

Which stan is this?😳 I dont even bother...fans are crazy...sab ek doosre ke peeche pare rehte hain. Main to door hi rehti hoon iss sab se.🤣

I guess he got the baby aborted because he thought agar baby aagaya to it would be impossible for Nageen and Haroon to part ways even if they wanted to. And personally I feel this was related to his past insecurities too. Like the way he had been treated as a child, never got love and attention so I dont think he eve felt any feelings for another child. It was like his way of avenging the world.

In the whole drama, Sultan never bothered about his security. Aise hi khule aam ghoomta tha, sab ko milta tha.😆 I didnt want Ramsha to die either. She shouldve ended up with Haroon. They deserved each other.

I was so pissed when Haroon started hanging out with her, going to dinners and telling her how much he loved her and confronting her for leaving him. Like dude, you're married now. Grow the eff up and move on. Mera husband aise karta, main to uski shakal na dekhti dobara. If his hadnt got distracted with other issues, he probably would have ended up cheating on Nageen. Aise mard ka kya bharosa.🤢

ive liked Feroze since Gul e Rana. He makes good chemistry with all his female co stars. I hate him off screen though. He makes weird statements and makes a fool out of himself.😆

Lets see how this show turns out. Looks like after the success of Deewangi, they have been rolling out similar stories with anti heroes.

Im so happy he won an award. Im biased like that when it comes to him cuz i simply want him to win in everything. 😳

And im surprised there was a tie, until now i had not seen them give awards in a tie in pak awards.

So this is filmed in his house. This award would have gone to him after the ceremony right? And the thankyou message would be filmed and aired for the tv audience. The live audience wont have seen this message the same day right? Im wondering for LSA if the same will happen. We might see his thank you message when it airs on tv perhaps? Generally also, i never felt him ever being condescending or anything as such towards dramas or the work or the drama industry.

Neither from any statement of his nor from his behaviour. He was happy more than proud that he was doing movies, and it was not cuz he felt he was going to a better medium or something like that, but more like he was going to be working for a different medium. Not better, but different. Thats the catch.

Snob bit or bragging bit, i honesty never felt ever. Bas khush lagta tha movies ke baare mein baat karke. And whenever in the interviews he would get asked about the switch from drama to movies or that now he is a movie star discussion, i found him to talk practically, like as if he is stating facts in a mature way. Bas. No negativity or kuch offness.
