Omg and even if they're educated, they have no careers nor any such aspirations. I feel like a lot of the time they might have degrees, but after college they just stay home.

That’s also one of the reasons Erica quit. She told in her statement that Sona at least had an office to go to in the first 2 seasons, and I agree! Loved Ishwari for always rooting for Sona to go to work (even though she had her own agenda and reasons to let her go).

All the mess created by Season 3 aside, I'm so glad they gave Sona better costumes that Season 1. She was looking 🔥🔥 in those sleeveless blouses. High time modern dresses are normalized and not confirmed to villains/sautans.

Nikki too wore western dresses in Season 1 and she is the funnest, most positive character in Dixit house.

On an unrelated note, also loved the popculture references in the show like Nikki teaching Mamaji how to pout and Tina reading Fifty Shades of Grey in the office 😂😂

Ahh one of my favourite scenes!

"Chak de India romantic movie"

"DDLJ action movie"

And 50 shades reference 😂😂 I was unfortunately watching that in front of family the first time it came up and I just burst out laughing and had to say it's a comic book lmao

In other serials the no-nonsense type is shown to be like a "gussewaali", and someone that picks fights continuously. Sona was always well behaved and respectful, but still confident and would never let anyone degrade her.

Yes! I loved that she was a modern career woman but they didn't show her confidence in a negative way. And that she was shy but could also be forward when she wanted to!

Remember " Main Salman Khan k movies aankh band kar ke dekhti hu " 😂😂
