I thought VD might bring back Hans to disrupt Purab's decision. Seems like the guy (rather the writers) forgot her altogether. The way Purab was shown lavishing her with his attention and gifts before marriage, his focus has completely shifted. But a passing mention was needed to keep his character's genuineness intact.

But yes it could be VD, but what did she post?

May be it was a story to media about her 'welcome' into the sasural. If that is the case then the #babhi (any idea about her name?) and MIL is involved. Or could it be her maami and cousin.

Couldn't figure it out completely but veena ji is surely upto something,even if she isn't behind this clip thing,she still will try to take advantage of it
