You know, someone like Bhavani (who rendered her own daughter mentally ill) developing a soft spot for Sai is bad writing. Her being oblivious to her stooges' games is in sync with her character. She is a power hungry narcissist - and however intelligent she may be, such people become vulnerable when they feel threatened of their position. It is this insecurity that the stooges have played upon so cunningly - since the narcissist's biggest fear is losing power.
If they wanted to show a gradual warming up towards Sai, they should have made her much much less vile. More a dominating, old fashioned kind of woman. Here she is pure evil - with not even an ounce of morals. But it hardly matters since writers are expert in white-washing.
Ya, I never can see her as a positive character. Bhavani is a plain scary lady with her patriarchy, morals and snobbish attitude. A woman who did what she did with her own daughter should never be trusted.
But still somewhere I feel she should have been written in a more convincing way in the current sequence. She could have learnt a thing or two from the past few days and started conversing a bit normally. She does not have to insult people to get her point across, since it's not in KD at this point Sai will not say that she wants to leave the home again. Suppose she does say it, will Kaku go back on everything from the past few days and allow her to walk off? What was the whole point of softening her, I'm not saying the writer's have to make her side with Sai or Virat but atleast she can talk to them with the dignity she's supposed to use for fellow family members after all this drama.
Has the TRP seen a very huge difference or something for Kaku to be back to the original phase that brought them TRP's🤔 No matter what they are trying, the story is running in circles. People are bored with the never moving real dynamics between characters.
