Adi ka character is just an empty vessel, just making a lot of noise with zero integrity or substance, always making excuses with everything that went wrong in his life.
Bandook nokh shaadi ke baare mein nahin bola because his aatma samman was at stake. Pehli shaadi ke baare mein Malini ko nahin bola because she fainted. Then when he accepted his love for Imlie, he was bewajah rude to Malini on several occassions and excuse was Imlie is not letting me tell her. Made big noises ki Imlie patni hai, haq usi ka hai, pyaar usi se karte hai but will constantly patronize her saying "hum tumse pyaar karte hai, aur kya chahiye tumko" as if being loved by him is a big boon. And all the Tripathis just kept enabling his stupid behavior. Ugh.
