I feel she has closed up after marriage regarding feelings.her reactions are a defence mechanism.

And her love for dhara and pandya family overpowers Suman's taunts.she made a promise to herself that she will take care of dhara and the house for 9 months.she is not going to leave that easily.she will simply shut down when emotional like she closed the door on Shiva's face.
