Chay's cousins Rana and Abhiram ( Rana's brother ) have had multiple girlfriend's. Rana's brother in particular is a creep . Venky's family isn't clean either 😆.

I like Chay , he seems honest and less pretentious , but I am convinced his philandering ways are the reason for divorce .

1. Re: Rana - Whatever went down between Rana and Trisha, it must have been awful for her when he married Miheeka, seemingly out of the blue. I am sure there were others. However, Venky is not Rana or his own kids for that matter.

2. Redditor comments - there have been "insiders" who have claimed that Chay either cheated or the reason for their divorce was none of the reasons popularly discussed. Why I do not believe the cheating was the reason: from her behaviour and an account upthread about the legal proceedings, she didn't want the divorce but he did. It is unfathomable that she would want to stay knowing that he cheated: no financial constraints, no children - why bring a child into a troubled marriage and all the indications were there that she was wrapping up projects so could focus on raising her family (not the same as giving up acting)? Her twitter timeline is very interesting.

3. Twitter timeline:

Her last teasing, heart emojified post to him was at the end of May 2021 after the release of the FM2 trailer, for which he praised her and on the eve of the protests, Fast forward to September 2021: she didn't tag him on the congratulations for Love Story but she tagged Sai Pallavi. We can eliminate Sai Pallavi as the other party in the cheating rumours - she has been the favourite other person in the cheating rumours I have seen across the web.

The protests were very serious. There was a blind about it ahead of the divorce announcement. Naga also defended Sam against the protests. I can appreciate the political and humanitarian (yes) implications of the web series but have reserved judgement until I see it: a trailer does not a web-series make.

The above coupled with whatever epiphanies he had during the lockdown and the shoot may have tipped the scales in favour of divorce.

Just my beliefs, all based on suppositions and probable cause.

On a related note: here's my take on Sam-Chay acting abilities: Chay is underrated and Sam is overrated. The criticism of him is valid but there isn't enough appreciation for when he gets it right. A pet peeve: Sam really messed up her role, even as a flowerpot, in one of my all-time favourite movies: Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Truly, the actress who played the wash woman should have been paid more than Sam: the actress advanced the plot while Sam bounced her curls through the movie.

I am in the middle of "U-Turn". The reasons I am still watching it:

- to listen to Rahul

- and see just how badly Sam's own vocal delivery / dubbing can screw up a movie - not even half way into the movie and it's pretty bad.

2 Rana's brother Abiram harassed a junior artist when she was shooting for Chay's film Tadaka . She apparently complained to Chay and he warned his cousin ! The jnr artist herself told this in interviews !

Chay seems pretty decent in that way . He cheated or not , he most probably isn't a creep. Samantha and now Sai Pallavi revealed how they feel comfortable and protected with Chay

@bold- yes...It can't be Sai Pallavi or Rashi. Rashi likes Sam's Instagram post. There are some people on social media say it is Divyansha (Majili girl) but I don't think it is her as well. Do you have any idea who's that girl?? Any guess? I am just curious.

@bold- can't agree more. In Rana's show (April 2021) he was happy talking about Sam and it was pretty visible. What surprised me the most that in the show when he was asked what he missed being single he answered the question spontaneously. (He could have said I don't miss anything as I enjoy my married life but instead of that he honestly said he missed being single)

Despite his cool and composed nature during Love Story promotion in September he looked pretty dull.

Sam Chay both looked they are in the happy space after their marriage. That's why this divorce is so shocking. On Twitter I have seen people are saying Chay never openly expressed his feelings like Sam but I think it was just his nature.

I don't know whether it was Chay or anyone else. I read somewhere (may be on Reddit) that during 2014-15 Sam got involved with some Tamil director and it was a brief affair.

Sam in an interview said Chay loves him despite all her crazy mistakes. And also Chay once said Sam is known devil, he is aware of all her mischief and he is okay with that.

It seems both of them were well aware of their mischief. That's why I wonder what went wrong between them now. May be what Chay could overlook Sam couldn't.

Going with Sam cheating on Sid with Chay during or Manam. So, there might have been another affair too. So, yes 100% believe they are both capable of it, just not that it is the reason for the break-up or the cheating happened during the marriage.

Theory: ChaySam marriage sacrificed to save Akkineni family from threats after FM2 protests:

1. Tollywood is bigger than Kollwyood. Nag has apparently consistently advised Chay against doing a movie in Kollywood. Now, when Chay has a hatrick of successes and a career defining movie, Chay says he is keen to do a movie in Kollywood. His explanation: he grew up in Chennai and its a chance to work in the place in which he was raised.

He either wants to get out of Tollywood for a while or he is going to TamilNadu as the family ambassador to save the family reputation / nullify threats.

I will eat my hat if she accepts the second lead Nani is apparently offering her in a movie he is doing with Keerty, his BFF. She had to eat humble pie before and the discomfort was plain to see.

Okay so I am not alone in this 😛 started following him because of Sam but after going through his interviews I must say he has got an attractive personality.

And I don't think he would choose any random junior artist. He seems aware of his social status. Yes he is very secretive when it comes to his personal life. So there is no way to find out what is going on.

During Majili promotion he was teasing Sam because Sam failed to identify Central Park. He said Sam lost her interest after 1yr of marriage as she was excited when they visited New York.

Chay seems very image conscious, and the whole divorce episode has brought him at the centre of controversy. Going by his nature I don't think he is very comfortable with this.

Yes, if infidelity is there then I must say I feel bad for his mother. She tried her best to keep him away from all this but she failed.

But again Sam is no ordinary girl and no matter what she is one of the top actresses in south and these celebrities come along with lots of arrogance, ego and other complexity. So it's not that simple.

Watch her earlier interviews she had this attitude problem even before her marriage with Chay. Had Chay been any other actor I don't think Sam would have married him.

And I am pretty sure in the coming years Sam is going to use her divorce to gain sympathy. But her only problem would be Chay's strong family background. Be it Bollywood or Tollywood, no one wants to go against these big families.
