I really liked the episode, it was DevTa centric and Suman is back to being her old mean self. ShiVi were just in one scene together and Shiva supported her as she has been asked to do only cooking and not washing the clothes which is actually Rishita's job. She is unable to do it as the washing machine is broken and asks Raavi to do it. Raavi refuses and Dhara also asks her to wash, that's when Shiva indirectly supports her.

Suman called her sons nalayak and petticoat chaaps including Shiva.

Though it is not ShiVi centric which I don't mind as I see this show for all the characters and their story line, I really liked it a lot.

There is nothing wrong with it, my husband helps me a lot especially in the weekends. He just loves cooking.

Even when we travel to India and stay at my in-laws place , my MIL will only ask him to cut the vegetables, as she will not allow me to do anything. He reasoning is that I do so much all year round and India trip is my vacation time and I need to take all the rest possible and enjoy the break. She will make me sit with all my Jeth, Devar, Bhabi and my husband, will serve food for all of us and then she will eat.

I am all for Shiva helping Raavi in the kitchen, I would like to see it in this show.

Kathir in the OG has helped Mullai several times and once he cooked for the entire family all by himself. Lakshmi Ma (Suman here) was proud of him and encouraged him to doing it in the future as well.

Also Kathir washes his own clothes and sometimes if he is in a hurry to leave for the store, will ask Mullai to wash for him.

Of course there is nothing wrong in husband helping wife... Shiva should help Raavi.

I don't understand why cannt these 4 pandya brothers wash their own clothes. Why do they always depend on their wives and bhabis?Dhara and Suman cannot do that I understand. But brothers can obviously do that.

Am glad he is using his brilliant engineer mind to think of other strategies to bring out “sach ka ehsaas”

and not just dry roast biwi in hot tawa of jealousy.

I did not like how Suman said that they are not going to get the washing machine repaired. Why not?

Also it is difficult to wash Men's clothing, I can understand why Rishita was not able to do it. My father used to wash his clothes by himself till about 6 months before his death and I have seen him do this right when I was little and my understanding of how things work started.
Until the machine is repaired, I think the brothers have to wash their clothes and Rishita can probably do Dhara's and Suman's. Raavi can wash her own after she does her kitchen work but not anybody else's clothes, just her's.

The only thing I liked was Shiva taking his wife's side.

It is coming tomorrow when he is flying the kite with Disha. It's just that we got reprieve from it in the last 2 episodes😕

Didn't the guys all help a little during batwara kaand back in the haveli? It is another thing they all ended up eating Dhara's food. But they tried to do something back then, now nobody is even bothering to go inside the kitchen now. Dhara comes once in a while to make tea or cut vegetables for Raavi, that's about it. No wonder Shiva had to support her today as she is toiling in the kitchen all day. It is not easy to cook for 8 adults and that too 4 Men who will eat anything and everything, one pregnant woman, one patient and 2 petitie bahus😕

Dev had so much screen space and dialogues today😲😆
