In today's modern world one has to prove that they felt disrespected. 👏

4th November.

Topic isn't about who disrespected me.. This topic was simply about sharing ads which are doing it the right way. I shared some of the ads and someone shared Cadbury-Srk ad which again was respectful. Topic should have ended at bringing in good ads. But some for obvious reasons bringing in their own agenda followed by their clique.

My problem with "respectability" is that one section speaks for and makes a claim on behalf of an entire community. It is frustrating to be spoken for or have your views dismissed or invalidated because it doesn't align.

Hindus don't chop off one for disrespecting their religion. So why not sound modern and liberal by poking them.. Its Hindus fault they believe in ahimsa.. so everyone is allowed to shit on them and Hindus have to take it all without saying a word. Hindu aren't even allowed to say a word. Because if even they say a fcking word they will be deemed cry babies, cribbers and what not. The buck doesn't stop at disrespecting others religion.. being modern means one should have swag enough to disrespect their own religion that's what we get to see some of them so called Hindus doing it.

Bhai/behen/bandhu, Hinduism is much above and beyond anyone who wants to disrespect it or so called ‘protect’ it from disrespect. It’s the people who think they need to ‘protect’ it who create the problems in all the religions and no need to feel all high and mighty about being a believer of ‘ahimsa’ because these so called religious crusaders, hindus or otherwise, are anything but ‘non-violent’. Non-violence is not just about picking up arms and creating physical harm btw. You want to downgrade Hinduism from being the most tolerant, most non-violent, most liberal and most forgiving religion to some version of your own made up hotch potch version of whatever you thought it ought to be? Not Happening bro!

This is the kind of hypocrisy you get to see in these so called religious crusaders like Tejasvi Surya who was caught redhanded trying to stir up communal disharmony in Bangalore during the Covid last year.

The same guy wishing Dhanteras in English. Was he trying to Christianize Hinduism?

These kind of brain dead fanatics and bigots are supposed to be the ‘protectors’ of my religion? Thank you but NO thank you!

Oh Jashn-E-Diwali to everyone who believes in the spirit of Deepavali and Hinduism!🥳

Same old excuse. Hinduism is most tolerant, most non-violent, most liberal and most forgiving religion so yeah let's keep on making fun of it. Use that mockery as a tool to show oneself as hippy and cool.

Oh today I got the memo, people who mallign and disrespect religion are not the problem but the one who are merely voicing against such people are the problem.👏

PP rightly said if you don't like one religion or your own religion take a neutral stance or atleast use appropriate means and ways to voice opinion. Mocking religion isn't the right way.

But the thing is it’s impossible to ‘mock’ a religion because it is above and beyond any such pettiness. Ha it’s very much possible to make the followers feel mocked because their foundation in religion is very weak and can be pulled apart with anything and everything!

@Blue: Ha! By God, that’s not excuses my friend. That’s literally what my religion Hinduism is, in one sentence.
