Let me begin with announcing my gratitude at the opportunity you've bestowed on me to stay firm on my beliefs. Thank you for that. Really appreciate it.
Coming to ShaRa, I don't have any preconceived notions about them as I haven't followed OTT and gradually, my knowledge of them is limited to the handful of posts I've come across, that they've made about one another on social media. I don't hate them, neither do I root for them. It's a state of total indifference. I really don't think they or anyone else values my seal of approval.
If you've seen copies of the contracts under question, can I get a peek at it too? Just curious to see it. Because you seem to know the clauses that state the extent of obligations each contestant has to return to the show.
Also addressing the issues about use of physical force, Kundrra was reprimanded by the host. Shamita legit threw scissors into the mix of people fighting to snatch a piece of map from one another and that behaviour was ignored? Had anyone else but her done that, they'd have to endure Salman's harsh words but not Shamita because she's got privileges. Every single person inside that house has used brute force against another, at one point of time or the other. The various map snatching incidents are proof of it, it's just that those incidents were never brought up. Does that however make it okay to be physical with others? No. And I'm not insinuating that either.
I'm not defending Karan Kundrra in any shape or form, he was wrong and he deserved to hear those tough words but Shamita has made mistakes too, they however remain unaddressed. This is where my frustration stems from.
When you see all the wildcards who have entered the show thusfar, each one of them has a strong bond with Shamita Shetty. Shamita Shetty also gets away with everything and anything under the sun on the show. Naturally, it is going to frustrate a portion of the viewers. Chalo, I'll entertain you're notion that everyone is given a certain level of privilege in that house for arguments sake, but the quantum of privilege Shamita has cannot be matched by any single housemate.
Airing out ones frustrations doesn't make one a hater.
