Why did Aishwarya and Saif never work together?

It's curious that 2 big stars never once came together onscreen.

Saif was cast with Aishwarya in 2 or 3 movies - one with Sujoy Ghosh. Then Parineeta and ADHM. But either she wasn’t good enough or Saif didn’t like the fact he would have to act with a mannequin 😭

Oh ok. I think the final product is better off than. It would not mean as much to see a past history between Saif and Aish when audiences have never seem them together before.

So, KJO replaced Saif with a far bigger star who had a prior memorable on screen relationship with Aish. 😆

Kareena also probably has something to do with it to. After all, Saif hasn’t come with Lara, Sushmita, or even Priyanka! 🤡

On the contrary, I am still waiting on a spinoff film. And I remember audience reactions to ADHM were mostly centered on SRK and Aish's scene and how the movie should have been about them. That cameo was the only positive thing viewers felt.

Saif and Ash were the original choices in Dostana but Sai didn't want to play a "gay" character, and Ash thought it would be too weird to be in that role opposite her new husband so she gave up the opportunity.

Of course there was Parineeta, which didn't happen either.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Saif refused Salman's role and Ash refused Rani's role, although they wouldn't have shared screen space.

Sanjay Leela Bjansali had offered Chunni Babu's role in Devdas to Saif - although again, I don't think his character shared screen space with Paro.
