Too much expectations from Raghav and Pallavi gets a free pass as she is a woman. You are right makers can't show Pallavi having one night stand . If she had one the same ppl here who is on loud speaker shouting how Raghav is a cheater will be like arre yaar she was drugged and got molested. poor girl bechari frozen cute naive ayyo venkateswaraaa.. Raghav is a man thats what his fault is.
No one is really upset with Raghav because of ONS; rather, he is being criticized for gaslighting his wife and still prioritising his ex over his wife, despite the fact that he knows he has slept with Esha and cheated on Pallavi with Esha.
If Pallavi had done the same thing, slept with Mandaar but kept the truth hidden, instead hugged and consoled Mandaar , brought him home and pushed Raghav away, she would have been condemned just as harshly, if not more severely. 😆
Because you brought up the gender issue, let me say that while at least 90% of the fandom now understands that Raghav was drunk, a similar level of understanding was not shown towards Pallavi when it was clear that she had no control over Mandaar's creepy acts. Here Raghav knew about Esha’s feelings since the very start and even after sleeping with Esha , he himself brought her home giving her thodi si jagah , hugged and consoled her at times, even shouted on Pallavi for Esha , even after sleeping with Esha .
At the very least, Raghav did everything of his own own will, he was not compelled in any way to do all this things.
As it has come to the gender problem, I'll inform you that Raghav wasn't sl*t slammed or victim shamed to the level Pallavi was. Atleast now people understood Esha took advantage of his drunken state 😆, Raghav was given a nice freeway since he is a hero, however I have seen the female character getting severely chastised for simply putting chilli in his dinner, which unintentionally caused allergic reactions 😆.
So this whole ,Raghav is man so got reprimanded harshly for cheating is lame excuse in my opinion.
