Finally reaching the top of a steep hill, the two men on a tandem bicycle were panting and sweating profusely.
"Boy, that was a tough climb," said the driver in front.
"Was it ever," replied the second guy. "Darn good thing I kept the brake on or else we would have slid down backwards."
