Also since the shooting is in Kolhapur there is hardly any crew or actors they can get to come in at the drop of hat. So I guess they get to do with the same cast and same setups. That is why I think the separation will be short.

Just a few thoughts about Raghav-Pallavi

Pallavi:

What exactly is Pallavi expecting from Raghav and their marriage? Is she pushing Raghav too much to achieve perfection? We all know that its impossible to achieve perfection, everything can be made better. So is it correct for Pallavi to expect too much perfection from Raghav? Regarding changing Raghav, have you guys heard about Ship of Theseus Paradox? A brief from wiki

It is supposed that the famous ship sailed by the hero Theseus in a great battle was kept in a harbor as a museum piece, and as the years went by some of the wooden parts began to rot and were replaced by new ones; then, after a century or so, every part had been replaced. The question then is whether the "restored" ship is still the same object as the original.

If it is, then suppose the removed pieces were stored in a warehouse, and after the century, technology was developed that cured their rot and enabled them to be reassembled into a ship. Is this "reconstructed" ship the original ship? If it is, then what about the restored ship in the harbor still being the original ship as well?

In this case, if Raghav changes, like turning over a new leaf, changing everything, will he still remain the Raghav Rao that Pallavi originally fell for? If yes, then is there any real change? If no, then what was the point of changing?

Raghav:

We know he has issues that arise from his traumas. They are a part of his life. He has wished for a person who can look beyond his exterior persona. Pallavi does that. She isn't living with him for his handsome face or money or materialistic stuff. Pallavi is staying married to him because she wants to. Naturally Raghav wants to be The Best for Pallavi. But what is the best and how much is best enough? Dealing with his demons? Solving his anger issues? Making tons of money, in the right way? But then isn't he changing his external personality? Isn't it against what he wished for, unconditional acceptance?

My opinion:

Change is the only constant. No one can live with a person who is extremely volatile for a long time. Hence, it is understandable that Pallavi wants Raghav to tone down certain things. Raghav should understand this, and try to address the actual underlying issues. That being said, Pallavi should try to understand, when not to push things. Some imperfections are acceptable, everything does not need to be 100% perfect. You can't score 100% in every single exam, can you? Both need to walk some steps and meet halfway.

I and Ren were discussing about this yesterday and then I got busy and reply reh gaya. But this is beautiful...

Pallavi wants Raghav to be a better person. I agree she gets too strict and bossy and she needs to change that approach but otherwise her expectations in my opinion are in place. His illegal ways and throwing caution to air attitude, served him before because he was alone with no liabilities. Today he is a family man. His Security, his happiness, his work ways... Is going to affect the people whom he love and "for whom" he claims to do things. I guess that's what she wants to make him realize. But she needs to bend her ways with her and give him some time and be easy on him... Otherwise she may come across as imposing and that may become a little irritating.

Raghav, he sought light and Pallavi came by as the glimmer of hope. He's changed for her and because of her. It was him who promised her that he will change for her. So, he changed because he wanted to be the Raghav his Amma and his wife would want him to be. But his experiences made him insecure and he was not ready to let go of the shield that he had been using to guard his spirit from further hurt. However when Pallavi was hurt, that shield was ripped from him. So, I believe he would have evolved any which ways but yes it would have been gradual changes.

While Pallavi's expectations are not wrong, she needs to contemplate her ways. Sometimes, right thing done in a wrong way can have a boomerang impact. And when Raghav pushes himself towards a dynamic change that can be head spinning. I believe they should allow themselves a space for gradual and long lasting changes than an overnight reformation. I don't think it works that way. Anyways marriage is about evolving together. And how long they have been married. They still need to learn a lot.

Agree with Sonia + Sharada. I think they both need to learn from past situations.

Just because Pallavi is right in her intentions or her thoughts of reform (no illegal business, reduce drinking,etc), doesn't make her actions right. She is too strong for someone who is too used to being alone/living life on their own terms. Tbh, as much as I love Pallavi, I can tell she lacks tact and finesse. There's a way to make your s.o. change or begin to change their habits - being this forceful and stubborn isn't the way.

At the same time, Raghav needs to eventually work to get over his insecurities. He can't excuse everything he does with the fear of losing Pallavi. He can't hurt Pallavi because he's too scared to lose her. He's an adult and is ok to change for his wife - this is pretty common for couples, especially when one or both of the spouses have bad habits.

So while Raghav has every right to expect Pallavi to accept him for himself, she has every right to not want to accept him as he is. And he's so desperate to keep her, he's the one that will willingly change to meet her standards. He knows logically her ideas of change are actually good for him in the long run - he just sometimes can't let go of his ego to admit it right away.

SKR was live during a night shoot. P has her full PRR look on - banarasi/silk saree, heavy earrings, mangalsutra, sindoor, etc. Jafar is directing. Whether it's a scene during reveal or post, I mean, who knows at this point lol.
