Cost is not an issue now as stated it has been managed by channel in accordance with PH. Udaariyaan is topping chart so they will spend. Main issue is it's shooting location. They are shooting in Chandigarh, I suppose. No establish/senior actors in the Industry will be willing to relocate for indefinite period of time just for 1 project as they have family as well as other activities to manage back home. Choosing Udaariyaan means they have to give up on other side projects, which is very manageable if they are shooting in Mumbai. I think this is a cameo here for Fateh's realisation of love for Tejo before Jasmeen's truth comes out.

Still keeping him for long at same price as Ankit will be costly. You pay two ML ! Plus i don't think they need any new long term ML right now. Ankit is enough . All they need to do is keep bringing such cameo actors . Bigger the name the better. It spices up the story and as you said breaks the monotony of the track.

I doubt he's gonna be here for long term. It's not just about cost, but screenspace. If a new guy is brought for tejo, then tejo and that new guy will get most of the space. Ankit won't like that. He might even leave the show and makers don't want that, at all.

Yes they won't keep him longterm just to spice up things. Let's c how they handle it bas that's a concern. Show is a mess right now.
