JTH does not have too much autotune through out. People usually get to her autotuned voice first for most singers in direct release and less of the original and here opposite happened..and hence people were able to catch the difference faster.

The autotune at the start, hits starkly in difference...the first 2 lines...then it settled it nice. I felt the entire song was in balance except the first 2 lines in my opinion. I am not saying it was bad for those 2 lines, I am saying I could catch the difference there because it looked a little over done.

Still love the song and her voice!

So we all have listened to deba's natural voice..so when you compare it to the mv...you can feel at what places it's autotuned. But every singer uses it for the betterment of the song/music and it's no big deal. It's just that people are so used to listening to deba's natural voice...in iv's so it feels off to them. Plus I think people compared it to original which has a folk vibe to it.

Plus..you can feel it in the pitch of the first two lines...or maybe it's just me.

I liked the MV , I love Deba’s voice , she has very melodious voice , I feel it’s very soulful

I think a studio recording is always different from a live singing with no mic + other natural sounds of the surroundings. A recording done in a Studio setting with a great mic gives a totally different feel/ voice quality and that’s a given. My cousin has recorded songs in studios and she herself said that sometimes it’s hard to believe that it’s her own voice. That being said Auto tune has a bad rap cause it’s generally associated with a bad or untrained singer.

Agar koi besura note gaaliya toh usko correct karne keliye Auto tune use karte hain usually..Since Deba is already a trained singer, I’ve rarely seen her miss or not hit the right note. And she definitely doesn’t need auto tune to make any pitch or note corrections. But I think they also use it to enhance the overall sound and quality. I’m not technical enough to understand how useful it is for mixing songs , but maybe it does have its benefits. To me personally, I liked the final outcome of the song. It grows on you over time. 😊

Ayyo please don’t jump to conclusions, I don’t think anybody hates Deba’s voice here! In fact on the contrary everybody loves her voice. She’s a blessed singer.😀 Also, it’s an open forum and everybody’s sharing what they felt without any disrespect or hate. 👍
