While we always knew that the friendship is going to be tested by differential levels of success, that time has now arrived. I hope Arunita and Pawandeep have enough maturity and there is enough depth in their friendship to understand and accept this difference. Or rather, I pray for that. Seeing good friendships turn sour because of jealousy is one of the most painful sights. I want them both to succeed, but equally I believe that Arunita is destined for much greater heights than not just Pawandeep but all of these other Idols and many non-Idol singers too.

I think there is understanding and appreciation of what each bring to the table. The friendship is built on that. True success is very far away for all. Building themselves up for the challenge is the main thing.
Arunita has lesser options - she has to sing into the hearts of the audience. Pawan is more versatile. It will emerge as a complimentary relationship in time and both will succeed that way.

I think these two make few friends, but when they do make friends it is on very solid ground.

I think there are wheels within wheels in this project.

Sony is involved.
There is evidence that Freemantle may be involved.
There are overseas investors.
It should all come together once all episodes are shot.

Apparently being made to mimic a movie. No idea how that will work.

Still looking gimmicky but time will tell.
