Yes, they are denied haj too.

Even in India, cultural things like mazaars/dargahs, sufism, etc are no longer considered appropriate anymore.

I'd met an Irani girl in India, and she told me many of them go abroad for education, but its just really to be able to enjoy lives. They make as much of it as they can, before returning back to the Irani time capsule. I was once trying to find popular Irani musicians to listen to their music, but couldn't find a single famous contemporary one that is based in Iran. But obviously, in hindsight.

Ohh the stories i’ve heard directly from some friends were much more harrowing. So a lot of these girls will go abroad, live life, have fun, but when it comes to settling down back in Iran, apparently there is a very high number of “hymen repair” surgeries/clinics because of the expectations of a “pure girl”😳

There’s been a huge shift away from sufism, actually quite sad to see. Sadly, the stigmatism and divide is even more so in the West. People move to advance economies and still keep that pendu mentality. Haven’t been to Haji Ali dargah for many years now, is it still quite busy? Oh man, the famous Haji Ali juice centre is SO good.
