People love shiva and raavi as characters, they have grown attached to them.they will continue to watch the show to know their story. Women usually connect to women more, so the audience would want to know raavi's journey.they will feel sad for her, happy for her, cheer for her but will watch the show.

Just like people watch ghum for Sai Joshi.

Somehow a wronged female character connects more with the audience.

And when the male lead regrets and treats the female lead fairly, loves Her, takes care of her they will again love him.

For people who don't have social media switching on the tv is the only way to know what is happening on the show.

Another interesting point is: Both shows ahave some strong supportive male characters.

Maa show has vile sasu, with gray yet comical tones - very relatable (bit like Suman, and I wish they keep suman that way not make her what she is now) But maa sjhow also has Extremely kind, supportive, understanding FIL, mama, and Son. Those things connect.

I had left zillat afer Sbai's kickout - then followed on & off (their lockdown tracks were shitty) Have been following regularly post Sam's return - LOVE how through this supportive male character they are pointing out everything vile-wrong that was going on! And that is shown in No-nonsense way! That has given that show further boost & unshakable 2nd spot now.

Both these shows have positive supportive cast too- friends, families, sisters, jijus. Every show needs that.

We have 4 male lead- but we miss those strong no-nonsense reactions from all of them.

Shiva was there- he is done now. Gombi was there in parts- He can still get back there if they wish. Or Spine up Dev. develop his character, starting with candid maafi to Raavi. then build up character.

Let hardik/ mama/ rishitas mom be the support girls need. Let kanta be useful neighbor kaki she was to dhara & not another vile budhiya breaking a mending relationship. (Kanta is ready to kick Raavi because she slapped shiva- but is ok with her own bahu thrashing her son in bazaar. khud ka ghar todti pehle)

Anyways- So yeah. I think the current audience relates to balanced dramas. That's why trp jumped at the sign of positivity after a long spell of chaos. the audience loved scenes involving the whole family. Audiences loved selfless Raavi supporting Dhara. Audiences loved ML softening up & seeing the true gold heart of FL even after he treated her like a piece of crap- throwing her out of the house.

Let's see if audiences approve of this adultery attempt.
