Actually I loved that Adi couldn't move on from being cheated on and he didn't grow in that aspect. It's much more realistic and fits his character. And Zoya was so desperate and convincing. The last few episodes were rushed, that's my problem.

But Udariyaan is not the same and the character is destroyed and though a chance for redemption can be given, the journey itself will be harsh and unforgiving.

And the connections and red herrings have my heart. They manage it so well.

In fact Tony's death was my biggest heartbreak till date.

Tbh I do think they whitewashed their partners a LOT, while it's so clear that both of their partners were using them for money. I didn't like the way they 'forgave' them in the end... It's some bullshit. But Aditya's angst was something else. That's how someone would react after being betrayed by their best friend and wife.

Tejo got one or two scenes and afterwards it's just mehh... Use ghar ki nautanki se fursat nahin milti.

Yash however was stuck in a relationship he didn't want anymore and didn't wanna hurt Zoya who left her family for him. I don't think money was involved, and even then, Pooja offered to help Yash because she loved him.

Update: Okay, I read some latest posts. I didn't know Yash took Zoya's dad's money.

I think Pooja and Yash were seen through Adiya's eyes and were just memories rather than characters. (Which was super freaking impactful btw, I always cried at Adija's flashbacks). So maybe that's why there's whitewashing energy. But I think it's one of the more prefect shows out there.

Not condoning the cheating done, but I see them as characters first so 😶

Tbh as much as we crib about tejo, zoya was way more pathetic. Her sasuraalwale literally tried to throw her out from a home which was bought by her dads money, on her name and she still acted mahan. However Aditya was the saving grace of the show... Until I tried to catch up with glimpses and summary but hated how rushed and problematic they made him in the end. Ughh. If bepanah was a 100 episode show, it'd have been perfect. Makers will drag everything for so long and then wrap up within a week or so.

Lol that's what they tried to portray. The reality was something else. I might be a cynical person, but pooja was with aadi because the BF was useless. If you're offering to help, do it with your own money. She was having an affair and then taking adi's money. Yeah some great love. Plus both her and her mom were living with Adi, means they didn't have any jobs or anything, who would take care of everything?

Next... Whoever zoyas husband was. I absolutely refuse to believe that he's not interested in zoya's money. Yeah he might have liked her, but money was definitely involved. He knew what kinda family he has, and yet he never told her that she owns that apartment? I know they showed that zoya was incredibly naive about money issues because she's literally so rich, but imo he never had that conversation with her properly because he's banking on her innocence, to keep the truth away that her father gave him so much money.
