Man this is not done. After IPZN, I held onto that show for dear life, for the same reasons as you. The actors are such genuine, wonderful people irl because it's their first ITV show and they bring such authenticity to their characters, I love it.

I've tried that sony reboot show several times but not my cup of tea tbh. The leads are doing a decent job but I can't look past the same friggin bg tracks used in EVERY EK show, the same horrible attempts at humor and average editing with frequent bloopers. I'm sure there are things to like there too but just not my thing at all. Nothing desi will be left for me after this😒

Bold is precisely why I'm watching BALH. The Sony Liv sub for S9MK and IPZN is still valid- so I watch the Nakul-Disha parts and fast forward everything else. At the beginning, I thought he was overdoing the quirkiness and she the khadoosness, but somewhat bizarrely, it's grown on me 😃

Would be really disappointing if MHRW went off air- I suppose that's one drawback of having the leads confess their love to e/o and getting married early in the show. Separating the leads with a drama track means their relationship isn't really strong enough in the first place despite their promises to be life partners-something the younger viewers of the show won't appreciate. Do not separate the leads, and TRP struggles!

MHRW has its flaws with regard to tracks and writing, but its two biggest assets are Khedkar and SKR. And I'd say the makers haven't even used their chemistry fully so far.

The writing of Rhea's character was confusing.. not only was she introduced later on in the series but she also went through a drastic change in character. When an actor is put in such a situation it makes the process of getting into character more difficult.

Sonu for example, her acting was good, but her character arc was even better and it made up for the minor flaws in her acting. I also found her scenes with Ahaan, Ishqi, Karthik and Savitri were her best. Quality of acting depends on who you are playing off of and who is directing you.

Yes, Ahaan, Ishqi, Karthik could clearly carry a scene on their own and together they created magic.

I was most impressed with Akshita and her emotional scenes... being 19 and enacting scenes like the one after she walks out of her wedding and when Rhea reveals her pregnancy with the right amount of emotion and subtle gestures and expressions.. I have no words. 👏

param and akshita are equals in emotional scenes for me both are so great i could really feel the torment he went through when savvy came back in his life the way he cried in the shower and his voice change while talking to chachi about ishqi and akshita is amazing too

It's so bleddy bad that you literally have to do everything atleast TWICE to be double-sure.

Want to take a test? Ideally do it at two places so that you're sure one lab isn't cooking up the reports!

Did the doc diagnose something? Ask another one to be doubly sure!

I was actually hoping for a proper Ishqaan separation where we could see Ahaan suffer.. and a jealousy track with loads of auto drivers. Smh Sony.🥺
