I won't call Raghav mental. He's had a pretty traumatic past and he's shaped this way because of that. His ways aren't always right but he's a nice person at the end of the day and he loves Pallavi more than himself. This is what i want to remember.

Unfortunately he will believe he's cheated Pallavi and did the same thing he hated once upon a time, he's going to go crazy thinking of this. I really hope he comes clean to her. I feel so bad for him- he's too naive and stupid to fall into this trap and by lying is digging a bigger grave for himself.

I've always believed Pals is more practical and she'll survive without him (she will walk out for sure), he won't survive without her.

No Matter how disgusted I’m with this track I’ll reinstate my trust with the show and the makers if they show the track you mentioned in bold . I want her to walk out from this marriage and make a living for herself . Her self respect and dignity is above everything here and men like RGhav Rao don’t change unfortunately . Time & time again he tried to hide facts from her and belittled her when she insisted about transparency but after this he crossed all limits of tolerance and needs to repent big time if not forever . Personally I wouldn’t want Pallavi to ever come back to him but this is a show and she’ll b back and we won’t b able to stop that . But hopefully not in the near future .

I don’t want her to be Mahan while leaving him but she should leave him bcoz he cheated on her and she has to make it clear to him b4 leaving for good

Honestly I'm conflicted on calling him a cheater. He willingly and foolishly walked into the trap and has been lying to her and will lie to her but I do understand where he's coming from. He will surely be drugged and must have not slept with Esha, nor does he have any feelings for Esha.

Does Pallavi deserve a man who doesn't trust her or who constantly lies to her, no? But she still loves him and he loves her. They have to make it work, they have to learn from their mistakes. She will leave him for her self-respect, he'll learn where he went wrong and repent.

I still love Raghav and feel he deserves the benefit of the doubt coz more than actions I'll hold on to the intentions.

Raghav's excessive sympathy gets him in trouble many times. While we might hate what the CVs are showing, they are clearly tying all this back to the Anjali track where we were shown how much Raghav hates cheaters and then how he underestimated Anjali and her capability to take revenge, and ended up being assaulted by her. He is indeed going to go crazy thinking he did the very thing he's always hated in others. Reminds me of the scene where he puts drunk Pallavi to bed and pleads with her to understand him. He was drowning in guilt and almost made us think he was the one who had hit Mandaar with his car. If he can feel like that about it even though he knew/thought it was Keerti who did it, imagine in the current situation.

@bold it's interesting you mention this because today he was curious to learn how Esha fared after their breakup. He had imagined that she'd happily married a rich guy and was enjoying life while he was completely broken and then eventually worked his way towards professional success (but with an increasing amount of bitterness within himself). Now he finds out that he is in a better position in life than he thought she was and has found a great life partner in Pallavi (even if the circumstances of their marriage were not ideal), while the person he hated all this time for destroying him was actually the one whose life was destroyed.

Putting aside whether she's trapping him or not, if we go by face value of what she said to him today then she really struggled because she was left behind loving him and holding on to the remnants of their memories because of her sacrifice. He also learned that her husband was abusive, so this made him feel even sorrier for her. They were good friends before falling in love so their easy banter and knowledge of each other's preferences makes sense.

Now, whether or not Esha is trapping him, Raghav will have to reconcile the fact that he has moved on and that he shouldn't feel guilty for having a second chance in life while she suffered. Otherwise, his sympathy, combined with the fact that a huge weight has been lifted off his chest knowing she didn't actually betray him, is going to make him drop his guard and want to go back to that part of his life where there was no betrayal and where he felt light.

This is a bit like what Pallavi was feeling where she had moved on but Mandaar was still stuck in time, from what she could see (as she didn't know he was cheating everyone with his fake memory loss drama). Mandaar took advantage of her sympathy and insaaniyat. It remains to be seen whether Esha does the same or whether instead of Raghav getting closure through her, he ends up being the one to give her closure and help her move on. I don't know why but I'm hoping she doesn't turn out to be an evil or psychotic ex. I can't take one more track like that. I'd rather see her being wistful and then wondering about all the what ifs in her life, and falling pray to her feelings/moments of weakness, instead of plotting with a third party to destroy Raghav's marriage and hurt Pallavi. Then it would be for Raghav to tell her to back off and show her that their past belongs in the past and both of them are on different paths now.

Main kya bol rahi hoon? All this on ITV?? I need to stop being so optimistic. 😆

Sorry for butting in...

But I wanted to +1 on this post.

Personally, I'm not going to call him a cheater until he crosses that line. Does he have other glaring mistakes and traits that need to be addressed and resolved? Absolutely.

Also, sometimes I find we forget that we can't expect the same of him that we would a typical ITV hero when he was established as more of an anti-hero. The CVs explicitly make him set in his ways in tracks an the grayness in him is not because he beats people up or is rude but because he might have a heart of gold but messes up royally on other fronts.

Amma used to tell him that she stayed away from him because of his actions and decisions that he'd repeat over and over, and this is what we see here too.

Well they clearly showed in the Precap that he didn’t sleep with her bcoz he just dropped on the bed unconscious . It is a trap for sure but no one forced him to get into the trap . He did so willingly and that too he forgot his promise to his wife just to give company to his ex ? I mean really ? Who does that unless they have stronger feelings for the other person ? As for him not loving Easha well he doesn’t love her I guess but he definitely has feelings for her . Atleast those soft looks and BGM suggested that . He went so much into it that he forgot about having a wife and the fact that pallavi must be feeling worried for him bcoz she can’t contact him anyway . He forgot all that except for Easha & her presence and that makes him a cheat for sure . He cheated pallavi emotionally big time

Yes, totally going back to Anjali track, he became the person he hated.

Yes his guilt is going to be thousand times more specially when he'll see Pallavi before his eyes all loving him and caring for him etc, he's going to spiral down for sure.

Yes R got lucky that he moved on with Pals and Esha was unlucky. It's the same guilt he'll feel that Pallavi felt for Mandar knowing she moved on and he was left behind.

I'm a little confused about your stance on Esha. If she's positive that means Raghav actually cheated on Pallavi. Thats the last straw for Raghvi. The only way out for a happy ending here (because Itv) is she drugged him and Raghav didn't sleep with her.

I wanted a positive Esha who may be did some scheming here and there but this track after the sleeping scenario can't keep her positive. I will never root for Raghvi if he cheated her. NEVER.

I just need to go back and watch a couple of episodes of the Hyderabad track to reinstate my faith in him. He loves her and that's a universal truth. Bas. As long as he was drugged AND nothing happened, it's all ok.

Look at where we reached, our show is becoming similar to the ones I used to mock 🤪

the answer to your quesitons

1) with how much inner hate Raghav has for cheating women - no.

2) I never advocated that for Raghav so I can't support that lol.

They can work it out if he was drugged and if he reveals the truth. If he was drunk - then he needs rehab because that means he can't control himself when drinking. And tbh idk what I'd do if I was Pallavi in that situation.

If he was drugged - then he can't truly be held accountable for his actions.

If he keeps things hidden in either of these scenarios - then Pallavi needs to walk away with her own dignity and Raghav needs to wallow in his guilt. I love him just as much as the next fan, but dang my dude, you need to understand what path your decisions are leading you down. He needs to go through extreme guilt to realize that he can't keep being like this because he's too impulsive and in his own way. HIs poor decisions led him here, drugged or not, and that is something he needs to work on. And Pallavi should not have to be his support for that, not after this. She deserves better.

I want him to come clean Fria. Pallavi has always been honest and she deserves the truth.

Raghav won't cheat on her but he might believe or be made to believe that he did. He himself might back off from Pallavi if he thinks that. Or maybe he knows nothing happened but the situation is tricky to explain and he will avoid talking about it.

Regarding my stance on Esha, let me know which part is confusing to you. I'm happy to elaborate.

They all end up like that eventually. Only a handful stay the course.

I am always rooting for Raghav not because I blindly love him but because I want him to find the happiness he deserves after suffering all those years. I believe he needs to work towards that happiness and not expect it to fall in his lap just like that.
The good thing about him is he acknowledges his mistakes and tries to rectify them but only when it truly comes from within him.

This is why I used to say all the sudharofying tracks would not reform him because he would do things as a response to Pallavi or Amma's demands or requests and not because it comes from within him.

Not sure if I'm wording this right but what I'm trying to say is that while it's beautiful to see a person do or give up things for their loved one, it is much more effective when you do it for yourself. Raghav's redemption arc in the Hyderabad track worked well because he asked Pallavi for a chance to fix things no just to make amends but mainly to give himself a chance to grab this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience something clean and pure in his life, to get out of the darkness he had been in all these years.
