I think amidst the usual USP of every Indian serial ever, the CVs have forgotten all these days that the star couple needs to have something special for them. Something that'll make them the star crossed lovers. The story they told, didn't have scope for that. No place for quickening heartbeats, cold breezes and electric shocks. They were waiting for an opening. What they felt like was opening appeared, they took it. Unfortunately I haven't seen a more misplaced idea. Every time someone mentions it, I feel my blood boil. They could have taken 101 mature ways to show SaiRat were made for each other. At this point they're just being lazy.

The repercussion of that laziness is normalising of abuse. Emphasising on a repressive value that no matter the circumstances of marriage, husband and wife stay together for lives. This is just pushing the society back into an era where death was the only opening for victims fo abuse.

.. they should change this trend.... show FL moving out of that shxx and start afresh or giving them back with interest... we do NOT want mahaan FL....

i know if they show that way... it will take new sets & group of actors .... hire them accordingly.....

why just why 😡 in this 21st century... - no itv show dares to present that moving on after abusive past/relation.... moving out of a toxic marriage is NOT bad....starting afresh... is NOT bad ...... being independent / self sufficient is not bad... managing own life is not bad...

I remember one itv show did show real progressive story...... was ardent fan of that one... FL stands up for her self respect... she had been molested by a man in train... turns out to be her FIL later...discloses to her husband and MIL eventually ...... her MIL supports her... both ladies takes the lead and send that criminal behind the bar !!!!!!

I think long ago, they showed the Kismat angle when the white cotton candy type flower fell on Sai n Virats shoulders in separate occasions and when they were doing pooja too ...it was an indication of the divine hand suggesting that these 2 were meant to be together....now suddenly bk has realized that something bad happens when they are separated n Virat can "sense" Sai waking up.... But unfortunately these cosmic connection things are not enough to excuse the behavior of this guy with his wife especially with regard to how he treats her in front of his ex gf/bff/current vahini. He really really needs to get rid of pp from their life permanently if we the audience actually have to believe that he genuinely loves Sai. And he needs to recognize that the behavior of his family to Sai was abusive. That they are warming up to her now does not negate how they have treated her thus far. And Virat needs to acknowledge that to Sai. As far as pp goes, It cant just be one scene of him asking pp to leave only to go back to defending/protecting her, allowing her to say crap to Sai and asking others including devi, sunny, aai, shivani to speak to her gently even when they only speak the truth.

They are shoving this down our throat because they know that, in their blind copy paste spree, they ruined the usp of their lead couple which raked in TRPs for them and generated SM buzz.

They want to resuscitate the charm in this ham handed manner. Only time will tell whether they succeed or not.

I used to replay Sairt scenes and was even hooked to their verbal spats. Now I don’t feel anything even when they give pecks to each other.

Same...I cant even see their old scenes...

I guess it was still justified then in the beginning to show them as soulmates...or partners for life. But this whole Virat realising the moment she opens her eyes, is far fetched, considering he has always in this marriage totally clueless and disregardful towards her insecurities, her feelings and her mental state , her changing her ways of life because of the way he and his family behave with her.. She is not the same woman anymore, showing this man to realise her coming to consciousness is way too much from there end.. Where was this feeling the pain when she fell in the pitch and he was busy calling her out for her ways, the way she treats him and his family and also him wishing her to see a life alone...They cant show that scene in the morning of the episode and this scene in the evening or probably next morning.

I think this is their attempt to salvage Sairat and the only reason I didn't mind it is because I saw it separate from the previous episodes. 🙈 Its like each episode needs to be watched in isolation because nothing in ghkkpm connects with the previous episode anyway. So if you watch it in isolation, then this episode gives us finally at least a little bit of the love/yearning of a husband for his wife. He wanted Sai to see him first, was disappointed when he felt like she didnt see him and lost consciousness before that...he was hoping Sunny would say that she called out for him. So it's something....

Finally we see him praying fervently for Sai instead of appealling to pp n Samrat.

But if you put this in context with everything else, then its kinda ridiculous for Virat to have these expectations when he hasn't even bothered to enter the room and sit by her side and hold her hand as she is lying there unconscious.

See soulmates connection should have been established at the time of her accident too when she hits her head. He should have been showing thinking that something went wrong with Sai now and been upset. (like he could have lied to family i dont care but look his car to look for her on her own)

Instead, makers at the exact same time, made him complain abt her to his family and also said she deserves to be alone and suffer so that she knows the importance of him and family.

So yesterday trying to establish soulmate made no sense.

Also it looked to me like when sai open her eyes, he wanted her to see his one eye tear and sad face that he made. The min she closed her eyes, that vanished and he wondered if Sai saw that or not.

Maybe I am being unfair to Virat here, but I am not sure what they are trying to portray vs the actual story vs what I am thinking

Exactly..probably when the whole family bitc***g about Sai along with Virat was shot, the backlash was not that huge...Everyone from channel to PH changed their course after Virat was bashed for hosting Navratri.. That was huge. Not a single comment in his appreciation. Infact Neil's dance was not even appreciated for the first time during the Ganpati celebration. So may be they got it all this nonsense to establish Virat as the true soul mate.. The way he spoke about her after she left looked despiteful and was extremely despicable. NOw all this hogwash not working for me to say the least.
