I read so much hoopla about this before I got around to watching the epi and when I watched the actual scene, I was like seriously?!😆.....This is what everyone ranted about all weekend as Adi taking Imlie for granted?😆......I feel like I watched a whole other scene then😆.
Scene#1 - the phone convo.....Adi didn't call Imlie to ask about M ka haalchaal😆. He called her to ask how her pampering session is going at home with the ladies....Imlie pitched that whole thing to him as a day of relaxation at home for all the ladies - it is Aparna who said arey haan isi bahaane Malini bhi rest kar legi....lol obviously Imlie orchestrated the whole thing to make M rest but that is not how she pitched it to Adi. And when Adi called her from the office, he called to talk to IMLIE first and was indulgently asking her about how the pampering was going.....he only asked about M and her meds in the flow of the convo and again, this is no longer an awkward subject between him and Imlie cuz they are both on the same page regarding the care of the baby being a priority for both of them.....the fact that they are able to put aside their disagreement about M and still have the maturity to focus on the innocent child in all this shows the depth in their relationship. Adi is not taking Imlie for granted - he is treating her as someone he can rely on as a partner.
As for why no one calls out that M as a supposed grown woman can't take care of herself or her baby......lol well that's the baseline underscoring all this as it's getting proven how immature and petty she actually is while trying to manipulate everyone with fake sweetness. That is why the writers are showing all these situations.
Scene#2 was clearly set up to show another round of manipulative Malini.....she saw that Adi came home from stressed from work and decided to USE it for her advantage rather than being genuinely bothered about his stress.....they clearly showed how fake all her concern for Adi is too since she was mouthing fake sympathy about how she knows how important his work is to him and simultaneously decided to use his temper against Imlie......but she still failed.....because Imlie figured out what she was trying to do and found a workaround in advance by putting the medicine in the juice - displaying her quick wit and samajhdaari both in the face of an obvious psychotic manipulator. Adi was half distracted anyways when he asked Imlie if she gave the meds to M.....again, none of this is stemming from any real concern for M....he barely looked at M even after coming back from work - lol he was in his own head.....M had to draw his attention to her again by faking that fainting spell and tab bhi it was his usual general token concern, after which bas thoda sa Imlie ko puchh kar he also moved on from the issue ki sab sorted hai, yeh sab baatein chhodo.....lol
The writers are still in that very subtle zone showing everyone reacting as per their character. The baby angle is here to stay for however long and Adi-Imlie have managed to find their routine even in the midst of all of that.....lol Malini still remains peripheral and irrelevant despite thinking she is being "pampered".....lol she continues to remain a cheap woman stewing in her bitterness and pettiness.
It is obvious that Adi doesn't trust her to be careful with the kid so he will shown concern from his side for the child as will Imlie - heck Imlie is already 10 steps ahead of him in showing concern for the child....lol so I dunno why people only jump over Adi showing concern for the kid. Malini is a pathetic loser and anyone who has to deal with her for more than a day ends up working around her basically to think about what actually matters.....both Adi and Imlie are shown to have more humanity in wanting to think about an innocent child rather than sit all day thinking about a childish/unstable woman.....lol.....yeah no matter how gross the backdrop is for this pregnancy, in the here and now, M is just being proven more and more pathetic and failing in all her attempts no matter how much she thinks to herself that she's succeeding in breaking Adilie apart.....lol
Why will anyone ask M if she took her meds? LOL they are all treating her like some "delicate half-wit" who's so spaced out all the time like pregnancy is also another in her long list of endless ailments.....lol.....Imlie as usual takes on responsibility on her own when she sees everyone else being a loser😆
