That is what I was also wondering. Don’t they usually do a lot of fitness assessments before sending them inside? They make provisions for smoking knowing that it’s an addiction people can’t get over. So they would be aware of other forms of addictions like alcohol, drugs etc and know to check people for that. Otherwise it’ll be a problem for other contestants and the show itself.

ETA: Unless they didn’t want to assess Namitha to that level too much out of fear it’ll become a sensitivity issue. Already a lot of people say they applied for Bigg Boss and didn’t get selected. Ithula if someone from the trans community also says that it won’t reflect well ndu yosikkalaam. I doubt they will send Milla in as wild card now or it’ll come across to the public like they are replacing one trans member with another.

Hmm this drug angle didn’t even cross my mind. It may or may not be the truth. We wouldn’t know unless someone says it out. VTV might not let them talk abt this like what happened in Madhumitha issue.

If it was a fight with Thamarai, VTV would have used the opportunity to increase trp by showing it in promo. Since people are hiding the reason, I am leaning towards something wrong from Namitha side. They don’t want to say anything negative about a transgender and being careful.

About the COVID angle, I assume the production team wouldn't want to risk the other contestants becoming infected if one has tested positive for COVID already, since they were all in the same confined space. There would be too much to lose in the aftermath, even if they wanted to continue the show temporarily.

Also, I don't think the contestants would want to remain there either if that were the case. Surely many would be worried and want to pack up and leave instantly. (Though I'm not sure if the others would be informed if one person was infected?) People would also be coming for the show and channel left and right if they tried to proceed under these circumstances.

Whatever the situation is, it's a sad turn of events for sure.

As mirun and others said, drug test would have been done prior to taking them in as contestants. I am more leaning towards the “self-harm” tantrum thrown by Namitha.. VTV is not disclosing like how they didnt disclose it in Madhu issue too but at least they made KHto talk with her on stage .. All unusual exits , except for Saravanan, were made to come on stage and talk with KH but audience were given the reasons .. Anyway whatever it is , hope everyone remains safe

Yea even I feel it's not completely true... Because he deleted it... But one thing Namita didn't sleep that night... If u see those episodes u can see she is awake... Maybe Namita is really sick

she looked disturbed but not sick . She was lying outside in bean bag .

In that case why would she go and make tea and serve Thamarai .

If it was Covid they would have taken break since the current government is really strict about Covid spread .

Notice the wording of the very first Twitter post regarding Namitha's departure .. 'Avaragave veliyerinaar' suggests that Namitha left on her own accord. Maybe it was an argument that turned bad or non-COVID health issue. Not sure.

Considering her kadandhu vandha paathai these problems are nothing . She has lot of achievements too . Both Mila and her applied but she had way more achievements than Mila that is why she was accepted .

that is the back handed way of spreading rumor

You post knowing people are following you closely and delete so you cannot be held responsible yet rumor spread
