Roadies girl Anmol Singh to enter Sony's Kuchh Is Tara
Sony's Kuchh Is Tara has yet another twist in the tale with the entry of Ranvir's friend, Archita... Playing this role is the MTV Roadies participant, Anmol Singh..
The number one Sony show Kuchh Is Tara might be heading for yet another love triangle. The creatives have introduced a new character called Archita who will be a very good friend of Ranvir and will make Kanya jealous. The actress who plays Archita is a MTV Roadies Season 5 participant Anmol Singh. "One of the main reasons for taking up this character was that it's very interesting and young. I don't need to play somebody much older than myself", she says.
Nivedita Basu, Creative Director of Balaji Telefilms added that the introduction of new characters from time to time is needed to keep the spice in the show. She however denied the formal triangle track saying that "Anmol Singh and Amit Jain roles introduced in the track are cameo's who come and go. So although it does seem a triangle, it's not really one".
Is Roadies a new platform for Balaji talent given that yet another girl from the above MTV reality show, Shambhavi is doing a film for Ekta Kapoor? Nivedita laughingly replied, "Is it, I did not even know that Anmol Singh was a Roadie. She auditioned with us and we selected her".

Anmol has been roped in for Balaji's very popular show 'Kuch Is Tara' on Sony TV; she will be playing the character of Archita, who is Ranbir's childhood buddy.
Anmol will be seen trying to get close to Ranbir with the intent of making his wife Kanya feel jealous. If the character is well accepted by the audiences then, Balaji plans to turn the story into a love triangle.
Anmol was quite a 'hoity-toity' on Roadie and considered everyone on the show below her self-proclaimed high standards; she lost out to Prabhjot, who challenged her on the show.
Anmol was sad as she couldn't go International, but now she is thanking her stars as within a couple of weeks post Roadie she has bagged a role on Sony's top show as 'Kuch is Tara' opportunity came knocking on Anmol's door.

Anmol Singh, who hails from Delhi, got evicted from MTV Roadies just before they went international in their first ever international season. She lost her ticket to evicted Prabjoth, who challenged her to win her place back in the show. But as they say, everything happens for a reason and this time the reason was much attractive and better as it was a role in Balaji's Kuchh Is Tara.
Anmol, who is in the second year of college, says, "I will play Archita, Ranbir's childhood buddy whose sole purpose is to make Kanya (Ranbir's wife) jealous. Archita is very much like me. I too am very bubbly and lively like Archita."
Recently Shambhavi, another evicted Roadie has also reportedly bagged an offer to play a vital role in a movie titled The little Godfather, produced by Ekta Kapoor and Suniel Shetty.
So we now know what the Queen of Soaps is watching in her free time.
