She’s always advised and guided Anu and her scenes with Anuj today needed a well deserved appreciation post.👏

She started with a super line today

Anu ke saath galat ho raha hai kyuki wo galat hone de rahi hai…divorce ke baad wahan rehna uska apna decision tha’

She had to diffuse the anger in Anuj and she did it brilliantly… And she further said that as friends they can only advice her on right and wrong but cant force her into fixing her mistakes.

Next came the harsh and annoying reality that Anupama will never ‘leave that house’ and her so called family will never stop bullying her. She added how they can’t change the situation for Anupama neither can they change her mind…how helpless she sounded when she said the only thing they can do is pray that her situation gets better.

Devika, you put it all out in the open and made Anuj realise that he spoke out of turn but when he saw her crying hopelessly, he could only think of one solution to put an end to her misery and that was to ‘leave that house’…oh Anuj you were so hopeful and so were we…sigh! ghosla alert*

How she consoles him when he is mad at himself for maligning hus family but she pacifies him by saying he did nothing wrong just showed her the mirror…he didnt order her but only suggested and now its upto her to decide…only if!

Devika deserves all the love and praise for being an honest and caring friend to both Anu and Anuj…and I’m looking forward to her playing cupid in the upcoming MaAn love story...cause I’d much rather see her than the clowns of Shah circus.

Anuj was good too but Devika and her hard hitting dialogues definitely had an edge over him

As someone rightly said here that makers were not trying to justify anu actions but rather tell anuj the whole ploy and to audience as well because anu has been in toxic environment for 26 years and to break free from that takes time just as we want to break a stone we can't break it into pieces just into one shot same is the case of anu to make her anuj or circumstances need to break her and then one we can mould and give a vessel a new makeover, what anu said about ghosla was not unexpected but it was definitely for anuj, maybe the makers will give a slow and steady progression of anu coming out of toxic mentality, but first making realize her self worth &self love nd other things are just by- product. Devika and anuj as best friend will have to make her realize this.

I dont expect Anu to take that decision overnight but her resolve in dealing with Vanraj today lacked conviction because she didn't follow it up...

I posted in a different thread not too long ago but Devika is that friend who says things aptly and whom Anu has the best person to look.

Whenever Anu said that her friend was 'begging' while they were conversing in the car & drinking the coffee, I sort of felt bad that all I saw was her motivating & trying to explain the reality repeatedly. What was there to beg for? 😕 Maybe it could be taken as a joke from Anu's perspective, but I only saw Devika trying to explain what Anuj said Tuesday's episode when Anu engulfed herself.

I'm just feeling bad for Anuj yesterday & preferred their scenes over Anu-Anuj scene in the office as it was just back to square one funda. Thode din ka hullabaloo turns into the same old "thoo, thoo, thoo."

Devika has always been a great support for Anupama every step of her way. She had also helped Anupama get back on her feet quickly after Anu found out about V's affair. Devika is undoubtedly a great confidant to have! She is also someone who speaks her mind and doesnt hesitate calling a spade a spade.

That is one of the reasons when Anu was in dire need of money, many of us here were expecting her to seek Devika's help. But Anupama went to Rakhi instead!

It was a delight to see AK's face light up with joy when he notices Anupama in the office the following day. Also, good to see Anupama catching him grinning with joy watching her 😳 His expression changes in an instant as if caught with his hands in a cookie jar!! 😳😳
