not at all. they are subtitled! i've only understood q - why and chello - lets go! jodi i think is a romantic pairing and milind is milind in any language!!! channel 4 here puts the bollywood films on occassionally in the wee hours of the morning when no one can watch them- but i've wheedled them out and tape them! i've been watching the bollywood films for about 5 years on and off and the soap religiously since 2006! i have 6 on the go on series link on Sky+! the first film i got into was one because my mum had taped it and said it was so lovely it made her cry. i asked someone what it was called as i remember the title "sometimes laugher, sometimes tears" and it called gubbie something but it was lovely. dhoom 2 is my all time fave at the mo. they do tend to go on for a long time but they are always wonderful love stories - i'm an old romatic at heart!!!

Ah yes Channel 4 and it's bollywood season, i don't think they showed anything this week did they?

The film your on about it 'Kahbi Kushi Kahbi Ghum'......Bollywood films are great for abit of romance, if you like the Aish-Hrithik pairing from Dhoom 2, you should check out their latest release 'Jodhaa-Akbar', absolutely amazing chemistry! 'Saawariya' is also great for romance, it's based on a story called White Nights by Dostrovesky....absolutely beautiful! a little sad but very romantic 😊

u r right. they only did 4 movies this time (boo hoo😭) ash and hrith are just fab on screen chemistry fab fab fab!!!! i'll even forgive her for being totally devoid of emotion when kissing hrith in dhoom 2 (again - he had some mighty tongue action going on!!!) but as far as shabby i could just watch him sleeping or doing nothing i just think he is sooooo georgeous! why in the soaps tho have they always got wind machines going? in karaam apna apna (surely the MOST boring soap on tv?) gauri was in a cellar and her hair still blew in the breeze!!!!!

So now we have a British Bollywood affiicianado - welcome to the gang!

Any mention of D2 gets me going - can't help it! I have heard that ppl who did not have time to watch the entire reruns went ahead and bought tickets anyway - and popped into the theatres to watch whatever they could. The great thing is, you can watch any part from start to finish, there is something in every reel. For me, the greatest thing is that they kept the suspense, romance n humor alive till the end, i kept guessing what Sunehri would do, would she betray him or not?

As for Aish's lack of emotion - my understanding is that it was largely a one sided affair - she was a cheat but he fell for her and her trap. But it looks like you studied the famous scene quite well - but wouldn't it be onsidered v tame by Western standards?

lol! thank you - a club for once i'm proud to be a part of!!!👏 i liked in dhoom 2 the opening as you could so obviously c it was H in disguise!!! i think my favourite bit had to be when he was in the museum - o how brilliant i thought that was! especially when he opened his eyes - fabulous - blended in amongst the statues! wasn't impressed with how he stole the diamond tho - budget for that little toy must have been about 1.50!!! maybe less if they got it from one of the shops over here (lol). the dancing the story - everything was fab but i just cant get excited over Abishek - he just doesn't act well - i think he's got the added problem/air about him that coz of his daddy that will always open doors but i think he lacks charisma, acting ability and when you see H dance (wowza!) A is just too stiff. Ash is so beautiful that i can't fault her at all but when she took of the cat suit and her hair fell down o my g-d! thought i was turning into a lesbian!!!!!!! (never!) she really is summit else! great body great hair and a face that is just perfection - i'm soooo jealous!!!😛
