Folks !! I thought lemme share this info. Abt the fruit KAND-MOOL which RAM-SITAJI & LAXMAN!! Used to eat in their exile days !!😛

As it's given in RAM-CHARITMANAS tht RAM-SITA & LAXMAN used to eat KAND-MOOL in their exile days .😛

When I visited to CHITRAKOOT { last year },then I saw this special fruit by my self!! This fruit is white in colour ,skinny peal & it's really soft !! when u cut it it's a slightly orangish in colour from inside(in the centre) & whitish towards the periphery !! it's oval in shape ,somewhat like papaya !!! shaped!!😛 but from outside it's brownish in colour ,it's like potato brown in colour (when fully ripe) & it's slender ,long (longer than papaya ) . it's totally white (creamy white ) from inside when fully ripe.

(i forgot to add this info , abt kand-mool fruit) ,when i & my mother first saw the shopkeepers selling the fruit by cutting tht slender whole big kand-mool fruit into slices ,we 1st thought they were selling ice-cream becaz it was totally brownish from outside & creamy white from inside !!!!.😛.

it's the yummiest fruit tht i have ever eaten !!😛

When I visited CHITRAKOOT at KAMADGIRI PARVAT ,as all the main temples are at KAMADGIRI PARVAT & it's considered sooooooo auspicious to do parikrama of this parvat(mountain) !! there the shopkeepers were selling this KAND-MOOL fruits ON THE KAMADGIRI parvat ,even the people were selling this fruits while sitting on the streets of kamadgiri parvat !!!! 😛as it's grown in tht jungles at the kamadgiri mountain !!!! so it's easily available !!! it's yummy also if u eat it & very very soft !!! 😛

This kand-mool special fruit could be seen at the kamadgiri parvat at chitrakoot as it's grown in the jungles of chitrakoot😛 ,

there r sooooooooo dense forests at chitrakoot & the beautiful & green watered MANDAKINI RIVER !! flowing there !! & lots of things of RAM-SITA & LAXMAN ji cud be seen there ,even the place where RAM-SITA & LAXMAN made their hut at the banks of river MANDAKINI !!!! the kitchen of SITAJI is also there !!😛

so folks if any of u visit the beautiful CHITRAKOOT do eat the special KAND-MOOL FRUIT which our RAM-SITA & LAXMAN JI ate in their exile days !! 😛

seriously I was sooooooooo happy to see this special fruit kand-mool tht OUR RAM-SITA & LAXMAN Ji ate !!! as this fruit is rarely found !! but in chitrakoot this is available in plenty !!!😛

all these days i used to think that "kand mool" meant the general hindi term for "berries/root" which means eating vegetables/roots, etc
