shankar insulted pak singer(ATIF)

I just watched that episode of das ke das in which shamit sang 'wo lamhe' by atif,he had sang the song before aswell n i still remembered that episode where shanker said that he sang 10times better than atif(original pakistani singer),i felt really bad about that bcoz he is my fav singer here n he has very unique voice ,maybe not soooo surili but totally different!!

when shankar said shamit sang 10 times better than original singer, he meant shamit is a good singer a better singer, please dont take it offensive , and dear music is beyond boundaries, we dont care if he is from india or pakisthan or from africa or europe, all it matters is music, so please dont base ur judgements based on region, country , religion,colour or whatever, art- music is beyond all that. plz

yeah i agree with aditi, i dont think shankar meant it as an insult. he was probably just talking purely in terms of music. like i think arijit sang 'aashiq banaaya aapne' even better than himesh reshammiya.

itz not about him being pakistani. he even said something like that 2 rex that he said better than the original singer and that singer was anand raj anand an indian singer. but i understand that can be insulting. 😊

shamit ne ye song bilkul acha nahi gaya but i think k shankar ne specially atif ko insult nahi kiya tha un ko jis ka bhi gana acha lagta hai us k liye SM kahtay hain k original singer se acha gaya jaisay rex ne jab dil de diya hai gaya tha jab bhi sm ne kaha tha aur infact jab arijit ne hind poshmal gaya tha tab bhi sm ne kaha tha aap ne mujh se bhi acha gaya 😊

Sweet_sana I dont think Shankar mean to insult original singer ..Just too boost singers some people say these kind of things .Even for Arijit and Rex Shankar gave same kind of comments in Fame gurukul .So just take it easy and personally I love that song 'wo lamhe' really good one ...

ye i agree....shankar wud never mean to say that....im sure he knows the tricks of the trade....meaning to say something like that will be big trouble!! 😆
