Literally this kinda BS was romanticized wahaan pe. He had drinking issues, and she's just like okay then, if he can't leave his nashe ki duniya, I can join him in it, and if one day he wants to get better we'll walk out together. And she wanted to fix him with the power of love. When actually, he needed therapy and rehab. And kya hua end mein, he killed himself because he didn't get the right help at the right time.

But that film showed little bit of reality. If you don't get help at the right time then you can be like rahul jaikar. I would have shocked if they showed everything was okay in the end. I hated that movie.

Here toh they won't even address these problematic issues.

Yes, it was realistic in the sense that that is what happens when you try silly things like healing with the power of love. I just found it frustrating because the movie never acknowledged that his death was utterly unnecessary and could have been avoided had they not chosen to take such a silly romanticized approach.

Here toh love only will heal.

Instead of this nonsense they should have showed a ptsd track for raghav. It would have been great.

Yes that movie was problematic. Arohi & his friend was maha dumb. They couldn't help him. He died because he didn't get help. Pyaar can heal everything is pure nonsense.

I want PTSD for Pals.

Pallavi pe toh show ke shuru se trauma hi trauma chal raha hai. I mean, Raghav has demons due to his past, Pallavi has no demons from things which are happening humaari aankhon ke saamne?

Tied in front of a speeding truck, publicly humiliated and kicked out of her house, forced into a marriage that caused her to faint twice and beg to be killed, being gaslit by her own husband while trying to seek closure and justice, continuous sexual harassment by an obsessed ex, getting roofied, getting shot, almost dying.

Superwoman hai kya? A normal person would have cracked long back.

Gussa aata hai dekh ke. It's because of this kind of portrayal of mental health only ki people don't take my degree seriously. 'Psychology mein kya hai? It's just common sense. Koi depressed ya anxious ho toh just be nice to them, and theek ho jaayega. Not like psychologists do anything, bas baith ke logon ke dukhde sunne ke liye paise milte hain'
