When i started with the episode, I honestly did not think it would get emotional to this extent. I did not expect Shaurya to cry or hold his mothers hand. This goes to show that shaurya has not forgotten anything. Somewhere he is still that 4 year old child who craves his mothers love and affection.

The 'Chunar' song made it so much more impactful. The lines were opposite to what shaurya has experienced in mother's love. That lone tear that falls from his eye looking at his mother's condition, broke my heart. Shaurya cares and he cares too much! He is so wrecked emotionally that he does not know how to process any of his emotions.

Aastha, catches a glimpse of Shaurya. though shaan chalks it to her dream but she knows Shaurya came. She is happy. I understand but why was she not around for Shaurya to care? Maybe this gesture by Shaurya gave aastha the hope that things could get better and hence she tried to maintain a connect post this.

Devi is pure evil here. She understands where Gyatri and Kanchan are off too and plans her timing in such a way that even Shaurya misunderstands. I loved that aastha stood her ground.

Ditto! There's a lot of explanations we did not get regarding Aastha. My take was that she had tried and was hampered by Devi early on. Maybe after a while, she thought it would be a lost cause. Seeing Shaurya bedside gave her that hope. Remember how Aastha came to be able to read Shaurya better than anybody else.

Very true! I like that most of the cast has strong acting chops. Apart from the storyline, that’s a big plus for the show, the viewers and for the actors themselves. I liked KV’s acting more when he was the stiff Shaurya, 😁 that must be a tough act cause we got only a few glimpses of him every smiling or being joyful. Shaurya-in-love had many shades of KV.Also with time, as he got comfortable , we notice that he improvised a lot more. My main pet peeve with his acting has been his dialogue delivery,it’s sometimes incoherent or hard to understand 😄 Deba just grew so much as an actor from the first episode to the last.

@bold: THIS!!! The man mumbles too much. We see this in his interviews! I noticed that scenes where they take time to craft, his dialogue delivery is better.

Haha.. true. Sooraj ji and Alkaji’s acting and dialogue delivery is so good. I feel like in scenes with them KV does a little better.
I like Swarda’s diction too. Every word is pronounced and clear to understand. 😁

The scene and acting was good. @bold: 🙄😂 lol yes I half expected her to hold his hand and cry.

I was like how can he walk away !? noo stay back! I also half expected Anokhi to chase him down. 😁

This was again one of those episodes/scenes that reminded me that it was ITV I was watching. 😁 Gayatri and Kanchan being sent away to their maika, Aastha vs Devi showdown..Lots of Dra”maa” 😂

@bold: 🙄🤪Shaurya’s jale par namak chidakna moment and he goes batsh*t crazy at Aastha and the “Tamasha” is duly witnessed by *drumroll.. camera zooms.. Anokhi!!😁

I love a good , intelligent villain.Devi had so much potential, but without her backstory or reasons it felt lukewarm to me.

YESSSSS. I cannot praise it enough. Songs that fit the situation and the lyrics that define them.

Deeeeeee! Your puns crack me up!!

I totally agree about Devi. They made her really evil in the beginning and then layered in some maternal goodness, then made her evil again........but never explained her intentions. I really wanted to know what her name was before she became Devi!

Swarda's diction may be great but the lack of acting skills really made me feel nothing for her character.

Ayyo.. yes, I was about to say “ I love her diction but can’t say the same for her acting” 🙄🤷‍♀️ Also the Shagun’s character itself was again not etched out well. Like I always said, the “toxic soch” itself was the biggest villain of the show, the rest were just side characters 😀

The soch ke takkar is where the negativity began and ended in the show. No other villain would match up. Shagun was only there to present the reason why their engagement broke. After that she was useless. The ones with the soch were not properly redeemed. Tejvi was never fully explained. Mr. Bhalla was whitewashed. And Alok was cast off. It sucks that the ones hurt by it, Gayatri and Kanchan, didn't get the story they deserved.
