Unpopular opinion : Kavya is much better than Baa & Vanraj

At her core she just wants to feel belonged & at home. That makes her act desperate, crazy, attention seeking, inappropriate, greedy, selfish, etc. But she seldom goes out of her way to make anyone else suffer just for the sake of it. She only cares about her own happiness & comfort. She's also more compassionate towards Vanraj than V is towards her. And once Baa started being less bitter towards her, she entirely forgot about her plan to kick Shah's out LOL.

But Baa & Vanraj are straightup abusers. They have no empathy, boundaries, EQ, emotional triggers, etc. Whereas Kavya is consistently irritating just because of who she is.. Baa & Vanraj live behind a 100 masks. They switch between being abusive & saccharine. While Kavya tried to manipulate Pakhi & Kinjal a few times as a result of being made to cohabitate with her ex-sautan.. Baa & Vanraj constantly try to manipulate & control everyone without any trigger.

All in all, Maidi Ki Katori >>>> Anupamaa's 2 MILs 🤪

Haha not quite. Often she gets clubbed with Baa & Vanraj as one of the villains for the Maan friendship. But if you really think about it, she has only been a catalyst. If not for her desperation, Anu would have never had the chance to land the partnership.

And even once the Maan love story starts, her natural reaction would range from indifference to happiness (for selfish reasons, but still) 🤷

That exactly...Kavya is quite loved IMO, just that most of us feel a sense of disloyalty to Anupama if we started loving her openly😳

Kavya is the only one with clear motives and doesn't shy from calling a spade a spade.

She is spiteful and cunning and her equation with Anupama entirely depends on the situation, she can be quite nice and normal when she isn't around her V and the swing lady.

She's definitely a hundred times better than the two MILs for sure.

Kavya is practical. She's bad and she admits it. Unlike V and Baa who are shit.

Kavya was married to Anirudh when she started her affair with Vanraj. They had jointly bought a house and he treated her well. Kavya wanted the attention of all and did her best to usurp Anupama position when the naive Anupama treated her as a friend.

Every time she saw Vanraj and Anupama together her wicked streak showed up and the highpoint was the taking over of the bridal bed after Vanraj Anupama remarriage.

Whenever she joined any celebration in Shah House she ruined the celebration. She put Samar behind bars, threatened to push everyone behind bars to marry Vanraj.

She is self absorbed and can be absolutely mean like the way she interrupted Anupama presentation or asked Anupama to get her blessings.

The evilness quotient wise she is better than the other idiots . She openly flirts with Anuj and can never understand the platonic love of Anuj.

She repeatedly reminds the family how by using Anujs contact they should set their life. She is fat more practical and open than the other idiots.

Except she began her antics before sharing a roof with Anu. Even pretending that her husband beat her. Then there was that sexual assault incident where Rakhi has hinted was made up by Kavya but due to backlash from audience, writers stopped that angle.

Baa & Van are cruel but Kavya is not too far behind. She is instigating Baa & Van against Anu on a daily basis which makes Van acts even more controlling.

A person who keeps adding oil to the fire is probably just as bad as the one who started it
