But the point is Jean everyone is glad that the reports are fine but this can't go on forever right.
He has to understand that it's important to keeps things in a limit. Be it anger or his drinking.
One step out of the line and he can jeopardize his future or even theirs, not that Pallavi cares of herd anyway because for her if their is Raghav, she has a future. Heck that women was ready to die and erase her future just to have his.
Also drinking is not just something that hurts your health but excessive drinking is one of the major reasons for death toll around the world. Because people tend to drive harshly either killing themselves or the person traveling around them.
Now even if she uses any other excuse jist so her husband can have a little bit more of the future to live with her. I don't think it's against any law or something. These issues are supposed to not just be addressed but to be taken care of to. I am glad they are.
I responded to this in another post so won't repeat it all here, especially the part in bold, where I said I hoped writers would show this. It's not just the effect on the health but how it affects relationship dynamics in a family too.
Honestly, I don't understand the defensive nature of your response because all I asked was what would she do now that his reports are clear, seeing as they made a deal and shook on it. As per the terms of the agreement, she wouldn't interfere in his drinking but as a spouse, it would be weird for her not to worry about his health.
She took this on as a challenge, in her words: a project to work on, but the fact that his words proved right shouldn't mean that all is good. This outcome of a positive report is to show that challenges, projects, my way or the highway etc. aren't always the optimal way to deal with such things. I would expect her to find other ways to make him see the issues himself and try to develop that discipline to moderate or abstain himself, instead of locking up his alcohol or giving him only 501 rs. I want to see her character grow and I really hope she starts to appeal to his better angels.
Guys, see you later 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
I just realised I wasted my time writing paragraphs over an itv fictional character which is not very well written itself.
Hai hai I am embarrassed 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
I am back to no paragraphs strictly tomorrow on jokes only 😎
Team RaghVi always 😳

Sorry if it felt defensive, i wasn't trying to be defensive. Actually have seen some people around questioning the drinking controlling from time and again so i thought this might give them an insight.
I do agree with what you say. She's promised him that she won't come in between if the reports are fine but as a spouse it's her duty to help him in such scenario.
Honestly i have no hope from the writers so either they are gonna give it a high road of excessive drama like we're witnessing right now where she locks the things up and gives him 501rs for his daily expense or rather take a dry road where Raghav does something in his drunk self and then feels guilty about it. Hence, suddenly dropping it ( i really wish they don't do this. I can never take this useless writing again).
Writer's have been doing injustice to her character. They built it up but then dropped it for the audeince during the Mandaar track and since then we haven't seen much of her pov and growth since then. Similarly they built Raghav so well but then ended up butchering him in the recent one with constant drinking.

I agree sharada. But do you think he’s going to be whitewashed? I hope not. 🥱
By the looks of it Sunny is not going anywhere. So they have to whitewash him. Or the only way they can exit Sunny out of Rao's family is if Keerti catches him red handed with another girl and dumps him. I don't see that happening given that Keerti is a Gandhari. So we have to be open to the possibility that when the baby is born suddenly Sunny would be like - I love you sach wala pyaar Keerti and all Raos accept him with open arms.

Pallavi is gonna mend him the way he mended her. One bit by one bit.
@bold: well they both have been extremes. Remember Raghav's tracking device incident. Even though it eas a good call from his side but not letting her know and her knowing about it suddenly threw her offguard. Or at the time when he defamed her just because he thought that she was the one hurting his sister and Amma. They both are extremes when it comes to the people that they love so much. To a level where they can watch themselves burn even if it creates a slight chance of surviving their family.
I don't see the reason for comparing these two things or them both because I was focused on the current track and pointing out one character's behavior, but if you must, then they showed his extremes as negative things that had consequences and that he apologized for them to Pallavi. Also, In the tracker episode I disapproved of what Raghav did as being wrong in and of its own, iraada sahi, tareeqa ghalat. I didn't respond to it by saying oh but Pallavi also does xyz so I kept comparisons with Raghav out of the post initially.
In her case, her extremes too are currently shown as character traits and she is never shown to introspect and right now it's clear that it is an explicit creative decision by writers.
I am not going to open pandora's box by talking about her apologizing or not because there are varied opinions, but the point is that her extreme actions have often been painted with the brush of comedy or her being a concerned spouse, even though some of it is unhealthy.
As viewers we interpret things differently so I understand that you have your own perspective on this and I respect that. For me personally, I find her methods hard to digest but her concern is fantastic because he needs and deserves a spouse who is able to think about him to this extent.
Hmm.
I do agree that some of Pallavi's measures are a bit too extreme. But the thing about alcohol and other such substances is that it is usually pretty hard for the person using them to realise that they need to stop. In that case an external influence is needed. Although the external influence should be a professional and not a family member. Where Pallavi comes in is probably to convince him to go meet a professional.
Yep, a professional is highly required. Just said the same in another post.
I also want to see Pallavi stop feeling like she personally has to take the entire burden of dealing with her husband's issues. I hope she goes to see a professional for guidance on how to approach this, what kinds of therapy options are available, etc. but for that to happen she needs to understand these other layers from his past that eat away at his insides. I guess this track is for her to learn about this facet of his.
