I bet we'll get SR night over meaningful conversations at this point. 🤣 Thats how much I lack confidence in the writers to show that.

They kind of had one during her recovery? But the idea of tackle years old trauma - LOL the writers would have to actually try harder to write the correct dialogue and that's not going to happen on a show where they're only 4-5 days ahead of air schedule.

MHRW writers are often too superficial / too surface-level about the more serious issues.

There's not going to be a discussion of why drinking is an unhealthy coping mechanism, that excessive drinking can lead to alcoholism, etc., etc. All they're going to show is biwi fixing husband bc drinking is injurious to health and she's worried about his liver - not why he's relying on drinking in the first place (not P's fault - its the writers for not being able to add depth to this track even if its humor based).

I just wrote a similar thing on another post.

The writers pick up great topics but never see them to a proper conclusion. It could have been a good social message but also a turning point in Raghav and Pallavi's relationship to have them talking about the root cause, i.e. his deep-seated fears, insecurities etc. or at least take him to a therapist for this, instead of abstinence, which would solve part of the problem but not deal with the root cause.

Speaking of the taboo around therapy, KRPKAB showed the leads going to couple's therapy. It wasn't a drawn out track but I'm glad they showed why it was so important and tried to address some the taboo around that. I wish more ITV shows had it in them to do it and be sensitive about it.

But the point is Jean everyone is glad that the reports are fine but this can't go on forever right.

He has to understand that it's important to keeps things in a limit. Be it anger or his drinking.

One step out of the line and he can jeopardize his future or even theirs, not that Pallavi cares of herd anyway because for her if their is Raghav, she has a future. Heck that women was ready to die and erase her future just to have his.

Also drinking is not just something that hurts your health but excessive drinking is one of the major reasons for death toll around the world. Because people tend to drive harshly either killing themselves or the person traveling around them.

Now even if she uses any other excuse jist so her husband can have a little bit more of the future to live with her. I don't think it's against any law or something. These issues are supposed to not just be addressed but to be taken care of to. I am glad they are.
