We are not happy with Adhithya’s doings what ever justification we tried to. Give.

Adhi himself at a point that imlie will not wait for him… the situation made him to think that imlie even will not wait for him.

I also wondered Adhi is even have no basic Vishwas that imlie will wait for him… this again going to hit hard for imlie & she again drifted apart.

Or this is like didi earlier trapped imlie in many situations from not reaching Adhi , now she is doing with Adi to not reach imlie.

Am I the only one who feel's that GM's interview totally justified Dev's actions. Dev also did what he did for his child Malini. He was not aware that Meethi got pregnant and waited for him life long. May be he also thought that he made a mistake with Meethi and didn't go to check back on her for sake of his family.

I have been a silent lurker for a while on this forum and feel compelled to speak now!!

Frankly, I have never been big on daily soaps, especially Hindi daily soaps, because I generally find them too loud and garish and too over the top. I very very accidentally chanced upon Imlie when it auto played on my Hotstar app after I had finished watching some Tamil show. If I remember right, the first episode I watched was the dance episode for some society function, the one where she plays "Hans of Holland" in the storeroom and ends up falling sick and despite that, dancing and getting a good name etc. Even though I found the plot quite illogical, what really made me stick to watching it was that the characters seemed somewhat normal and slightly relatable. I read the plot on Wikipedia and found it quite intriguing. But what really made me go back and watch all the episodes was this ridiculously good looking guy, whom I had never seen or heard of before! So now that we have the back story of how I got into this mess....

I think the makers know exactly what they are doing! They tested the waters with that announcement that Gashmeer was quitting the show and saw how people were outraged. Then they had him set expectation of how he is going to stick to the script, even if it means that people will hate his character. Which is what is exactly happening. Honestly, the makers know that the show will have audience as long as GM and ST are present, and then they throw a bone every now and then with a hug here and a hand holding there, and a rare peck on the cheek that the audience seemed to lap up!

What is really worrying is the depths of depravity the writers will sink to, to keep a show going. There is not one criminal activity that hasn't been touched upon on this show - a forced marriage, bigamy (now this is debatable, I am not sure which of his marriages are valid. Apparently, to slap bigamy charges on someone, the aggrieved party, Malini in this case, has to file a case!), and now these 2 crimes seem quite pale in comparison to the recent crimes committed by the mother-daughter duo, that the writers are so casually brushing off. I understand that some creative liberties should be allowed, but this level of perversion is really astonishing. Makes you think if the writers are even educated and socially aware from any angle! In this day and age where women are finally gaining the courage to find their voices with movements like #metoo, we have this show where one of the main leads basically date rapes another main lead, and pays someone off to kidnap another main lead to be trafficked!! I understand that a daily soap is really not where you should be learning lessons on morality from, but with how much these shows penetrate into people's psyche, I think the writers/actors/basically everyone that has a part to play in it have at least some responsibility to not blatantly promote perversion and depravity. Creative liberties cannot be absolute, especially for a show that runs in primetime. It really bothers me that they are using something as sensitive as a pregnancy through non-consensual sex and are using that to justify more abuse on another character on the show.

While Gashmeer's attempt at explaining AKT's character graph makes some sense, I am a little bothered by his statement that parents will do anything for their child and that is what his character is doing. I do not buy this justification at all. While it is true that a parent would in most cases be ready to do anything for a child, I sure hope he is progressive enough in real life to know and understand that a child conceived through deceit and rape is as punishing for the child itself as it is for a victim of rape and abuse.

And coming back to the show itself.... why is she still in that tent with fairy lights and what exactly is she doing there, sporting her sindoor and mangalsutra, constantly appealing to Seeta Maiyya? Looks like SM is also pretty zoned out now, with the amount of trouble Imlie seems to keep finding herself in. How is she still believing that this bond was SM's plan?! If anything, they should at least stop taking the Goddess' name for every challenge that somehow skips everyone else in Delhi, but only finds Aditya and Imlie to pile up to! It really does seem like they are writing the script as they go. There is so much lack of continuity that it appears that there are some 20-30 writer, none of whom talk to each other! It's a pity that really talented actors like Gashmeer and Sumbul are reduced to acting out a script like this - something that has no direction or a clear path. From the interview, Gashmeer himself seemed really frustrated and can't wait to move on from this!

Dekho aditya ka character shuru se asa he hota na to Bura bhi na lagta audience ko lekin aik character itna axha tha strong tha us character ka kiya haal ker diya ha ☢️

Story line ache nae ha thek ha drag kerna ha par koe Tariqa hota ha audience ko bhagana ha kya 😆

Agree with ur all point.

Ur right makers got the idea untill GM and ST is there even they serve worst people will take it for them but they should knw even that has some limit, show has become so toxic with all crimes shown and no pushing for those..

Even i felt he is frustrated and not connecting with script now..

Leave logic. He was begging her to wait for him yesterday and he very well know Imlie is naraaz with him. Before leaving with Didi can't he tell nishant or sunder to go and check Imlie’s college and make sure she got home safely. The kid is nirdosh in this drama so as imlie. It's OK if he care about his kid but what about imlie. Do he ever think what will be Imlie’s situation in all this mess? ADI is not divorced and he is going to be a dad for other woman's child. Atleast tell her clearly he can't leave malini nor his kid and it will be his responsibility for a life time. Did Adi really think he can live with two women? What about that women? Malini is happy to live with Adi even though it's loveless but what about imlie? Every time thinking abt his love, life, career and kid is not make him a good husband. Trust is not there then why is he keeping this relationship for namesake.

Adi should take a stand that what he wants in his life. Watching two ladies in same house is cringe 😡

I don't know how both of these are related aarti ji, but I'll tell you what I understood.

Dev is literal dhokebaaz.. he did everything will full knowledge. and then left the woman to her fate.

But here, Adi thinks(according to the script) he did it with his consent thinking it is imlie. So he feels responsible for this situation. he didn't leave the kid but in all of this, only Imlie is suffering, he has clearly started prioritizing the kid over imlie. How far can this go? If this will continue, I'll not be surprised if he blames Imlie for miscarriage(if they take it that way). AKT has been ruined and even Gash knows that. Just as he tries to justify the character on screen, he does the same in this interview but nobody can after a certain point. And we are literally at that point. If they continue it this week, it is going to be detrimental to the show much more than M's presence can ever be.

Right now, it's like the whole show is on Sumbul's shoulders and if the makers don't give a strong pre-pd3 Imlie, then toh this show is gone forever.
