Karele ka achaar

how symbolic is that with Vanraj and his character!

When he asked Anuj what he was doing for the one year between 95 and 96 and rhetorically goes ‘ karele ka achaar daal raha tha?’

Karela as we all know is bitter as heck just like Vanraj!...how bitter he is from within and how much bitterness he spews in Anupama’s life..

And the way Anuj innocently asks ‘karele ka achaar hota hai?’😆 shows how oblivious and away he is from nastiness and negativity...

Perhaps I’ve drawn an analogy cause Vanraj currently is garnering so much hate and disgust that we audiences simply cannot see past the lowlife he is...

I cannot fathom why or how the makers wish to redeem him. Today’s VaNuj scenes I felt was their worthless effort to show him in good light, as a misunderstood guy who isn't so evil after all... guess they expected us to sympathise with Vanraj but to their dismay the plan backfired.

To top that the precap cemented the kadwa karela streak in his character...how much of a karela can this guy be!

Poor Sudanshu, hope he isnt letting all the hate get to him...he is doing a fab job for us to hate Vanraj so much.

and kadwa karela just reminded me of kachha kela🤣

Nice analysis , ya it was attempt to whitewash vanraj but they failed coz I really felt very sad for Anuj when he said uska scooter vanraj ke godhe se haar gaya , u can see d pain in his voice .

Vanraj vo kuch to tha any or uske beech make me slap him & say kuch nhi hai tumhare or any je beech concentrate on ur self & kavya .

Sudhanshu is definitely very good in bringing vanraj to us .👍🏼 I really like sudhanshu.

Sudanshu is just a amazing actor he is in with his character!! It's by everyone contribution the show Is on the top level!!

The character has various shades. Sometimes he is positive.Anupama made financial mess but he thought it's his responsibility unlike toshu kavya who were only bad mouthing Anupama. His considered Anupama as his responsibility when Anupama got cancer. Then taking stand for Kinjal or even pakhi and taking stand against toshu.

Actually vanraj character is real character. The problem is his thinking about women. His ways of suppressing Anupama keeping her under control. This is toxic mentality of people here. All this while after divorce he was supported her there became friends but now he can't tolerate anuj so he taunts her.

When did vanraj supported anu ? If I m right Toshu & Kinjal looked after hospital & resort bills, whole family look after anu in her illness not only vanraj.

I guess it anu who supported vanraj , it was she who encouraged him when he lost his job , it was she who gave idea of opening d cafe , coz of anu's dishes d cafe runs .

Vanraj ne ek mauka nhi choda hai anu ko neecha dekhane ka .

I really like sudhanshu in this show. It is because of his performance that we hate vanraj so much.

He did support her that's a different thing she didn't want his support. My point is vanraj considered her as his responsibility and was willing to do things. The moment he would see her with that Advait too friendly he would act crazy. Then even Anupama made huge mess of 40 lakh loan. Rest of people especially people who had job were saying let anu do it as she created the problem.Vanraj supported Anupama took it as his responsibility.

Then as father in law supporting Kinjal against boss or even support pakhi or stand against toshu for disrespecting his family.

Now this is not a big deal but I have written this just to remind that vanraj also has normal characteristics. He considers himself to be provider and protector and never shamed his elders like toshu and ran away from responsibilities.

Just like rakhi Dave no matter how bad she is but as mother she is concerned about Kinjal.

Honestly these characters show the various shades which makes real not perfect. The moment they become nice to Anupama they are changed while they trouble Anupama they are worst. The point here is the thinking. There are places where thinking is toxic. It's regressive thinking.
