Why can't we have a normal story line?

Okay, so hear me out; all these unnecessary scenarios and banters don't sit right with me. I mean, common the teaser we got for the next episode shows Priya's stepmom sending prawns so that Ram eats them and falls sick, matlab kuch bhi? I get that the writers and Indian dramas, in general, love to portray scenes that have little to no impact on the storyline, trying to stretch things out more and keep the audience at the edge.

I don't know; I just don't enjoy any of this...

P.s. I understand that some of you may not agree with me and have an opposite opinion, but I am a Pakistani who grew up watching Pakistani dramas, which is why I am not used to all this. I agree that Pakistan also produces shit shows, but I don't watch them.

Yes unfortunately ITV prime time shows are not known to have crisp storylines. If you feel the current scenario is annoying I would suggest you buckle up 🤣 We are just getting started šŸ˜†

This is an Ekta Kapoor show, and most of the viewers come in with an expectation that eventually there will be completely mind boggling unimaginably convoluted storylines šŸ˜†

šŸ˜€šŸ˜€šŸ˜€i agree with the other user above … we are just getting started. If it was truly like other ITV then there would be dragfest and OTT drama in every function leading up to the wedding.. here they cut short the shaadi functions and rushing towards wedding so you are still saved of some of that c**p🤣🤣 plus its EK show known for her weird man marrying 10x times FL losing memory another 5x times

Bro, it means I have to be extra patient with this one. I had seen other Indian shows such as BALH1 and IKNMP but lost interest when it started being too draggy. :D

Its just the beginning more to come its ITVšŸ˜‚

There is nothing crisp in ITV no matter what kind of genre drama is a compulsory even if its content drive

just look at the ruling charts its abt cheaters domestic violence EMA bigamist abusers the current trend devar-bhabhi-jeeju-saali dynamics are ruling strongly🤣at least BALH will focus on leads battles

I agree these seem OTT and I would prefer to have a normal story but then it's ITV and we all know how drama is an integral part of it. Also TRP matters and without drama there will be no TRP and that's sad but true..

I watch it coz it's entertaining despite all thisšŸ˜†.. once it stops interesting me I will stop watching

That's what can be expected, since it's an EK show, like other members have made it very clear. More villains, more separations of the lead couple, if we are more unfortunate a divorce once, along with lots and lots of dramatic tracks are part of her shows. And the Trps have increased last week. Which means people especially TRP audience are noticing the show more. Which will only bring similar kinda tracks further. šŸ˜†

Lol as an Indian who has seen ITV I have just begun watching online and using ffšŸ˜†

In ITV even a spoon falling into mud can be dramatic yeh toh kuch nahi hai. And because it's ekta we might have a separation, faking death, leap and more nonsense.šŸ˜†

I think BALH2 has the 'normalest' story line on ITV.

But at the end of the day sab shows ko trp chahie so idhar bhi rarely we see villains doing stupid things šŸ˜†
