Very true. Mumbai ke local trains ka jewellery sellers have better pieces than the ones these guys use. Sai's neckpiece today was really tacky. Ekdum raste ka maal saste mei

Waise toh bhabhi in real life is like mother or sister but considering ghum, you know how bhabhi of ghum is... So jo duniya mein nhi hota vohi ghum mein hota hai... rich girls of ghum wear heavy saree and jwellery...

I live in Mumbai & this show recreates few of the traditional Maharashtrian jewellery. Some rare instances Sai wears a Thushi which is a type of choker and yes generally they give Nath's to all female actresses. Kaku sometimes wears Lakshmi necklaces I think.

They also go for Ambodas, which is sorta traditional bun here ...but they mix it with coloured wigs quite apparent like the brown one Sai had in the recent Red saree.

Some Maharashtrians do wear heavy jewellery but it is typically Gold based and artificial ones are generally avoided in traditional looks, specially Navvari saree.

It's a part mixed representation.

Except Kaku, no one is authentic to the Maharashtrian culture. I can get it that they want to show people wearing contemporary designs, but iss show mein the women wear "railway station designs"😆Especially the colourful mangalsutras🤣

Some of Kaku's saris are also typical Marathmoli. Some are really beautiful.

Sonali ko aise normally roz (without any function) dekhne me bhi mujhe garmi hota hai. They live in Nagpur na, Nagpur ka temperature is 40 on an average. How come they can wear such heavy clothes and jewellery daily.??

True. Haa their address in the show is Dhantoli, Nagpur. Even on a normal day, it is hot in Nagpur and these Chakram Nivasis are always decked up. Probably that's why they fight a lot, always hot headed. Btw Kaku's saris can sustain the weather.
