Why?Inspite of everyone knowing that Simran is back, nobody has even breached the subject of bringing her home but Fateh leaving is such a big hoopla. Like what misogyny is this? The daughter goes and everyone sheds a tear and when the son leaves, grandmother has a heart attack, Tejo is blackmailed and Khushveer just protests. He, despite of his misgivings, lets the EMA couple live there, but Simran is not even given a chance? Everyone in that household is chauvinistic, misogynistic and mentally abusive. Bas beta chahiye, chahe akele ho ya mistress aur wife, dono ke saath.
2. Ankit needs to work on his acting. Both him and Neil (Virat) are paragons of acting so terribly that neither audiences nor fans know what is going in their minds.
3. Cheating and violence - I don’t think there is a proper redemption for both these things in a relationship. Because no matter how much you try to salvage a relationship after that, it leaves a kink. No matter what Fateh does, he cannot take back the hatred or change the mind of the audience about his character.EK learnt about this and now she separates all her couples for every reason in the book but steers clear of EMA. YHC, YHM, KKB, KDB, PR, all have had ousting/divorce tracks but none for EMA.
I believe that the people who want FaTejo back are the young people - chemistry matters more than anything. Also, because Fateh is the sole ML, Jasmine and Tejo fans want the respective character to be with him - that would make the FL positive etc etc. The TRP audience is the aunties - people who like drama but also like a white hero and heroine. Fateh is not even grey anymore. I don’t think most of them would accept FaTejo easily.Also, people say that Fateh - Tejo are really popular. So were Jagdish and Anandi - in fact their love story had gone from childhood before Jagdish became the person he was. But Shiv was brought is and Tadaaaa.....Anandi Shiv became popular. I think characterisation is what is important. Popularity follows.
I’ll probably follow the show till they bring in someone better for Tejo but if it’s Fateh redemption- like I know it will be - well, adios to the show then.
1. For point 1 ,I myself have been wondering the same .Why is KSV even allowing Fateh to stay there with his mistress. An snow I see, couldn't expect more than this also . Time and again they have shown scenes stating that men are the heads and can roam around even after doing the worst thing but the females are counted as a bad person if they don't know something or do a single mistake .
Simran was in love and ran away . It was her mistake so she isn't welcomed back .Understood .
But Fateh having an EMA and making his mistress stay in the same house where his wife is pathetic . How is his actions being justified ?
Why is no effort being out by Tejo or anyone else to get back Simran home but so much rona dhona and running behind Fateh ad his mistress who demands his wife to leave the house so that he can peacefully stay in his home with his mistress ?
